And if I heard correct, they are going to resume the game tomorrow night at 7:00.

Why? It appers that it is already over.

I agree! I can't imagine anyone wanting to see or be a part of anymore of a game like this. It proves nothing and it already in the 3rd Period. Hopefully it is ruled a complete game. The weather forecast is no better for today anyway.

I agree also. This is ridiciulous. This sounds like Ray Graham being stubborn. He is putting an awful lot of kids at risk by making them have to play this game needlessly. Catholic wanted to end the game, but Coach Graham wouldn't agree to it. Bad move by Ray Graham and bad example of leadership.

At what time was it cancelled? Resuming it is ridiculous.

At this point, it's not about winning or losing this game. I believe that Harrison County is a better team than what the score indicates and giving up now is not the way you demonstrate your faith in those young men and their abilities. Giving them another chance to show what they can do against the defending AAA state champs might help them out later in the season.

I didn't count them, but Harrison County couldn't have had more than 30 guys dressed for the game last night and just about all of the starters were playing both ways. That was certainly a factor in a game where LexCath demonstrated considerable depth.

One more thing ... how 'bout those kick returns by LC's Ben Revere ... is that guy fun to watch or what? Also, the running of back Shane Isreal ... I heard someone near me say he reminded them of a pinball machine ... bouncing off of tacklers and then he keeps on going.

I'll be there tonight.

About 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

New Update!!!!!

The game has been rescheduled again to 3:00 sunday afternoon. Apparently the suprentent of Harrisson Co. will not allow the team to come to Lexington due to the weather report.

Harrisson just needs to give this one up. It has now begun to effect the preparation for next weeks games for each team. Both teams will have big games comming up next week.

Harrisson just needs to give this one up.

I agree! What can possibly be gained by finishing a game that is one score away from a running clock?

Could you imagine suiting up when you're already sore and starting the game off being behind 45-7?

Trying to finish this game makes no sense. It just seems like a big hassle to everyone involved. I feel for the players, it would be hard to get up for a game that you are already winning by 30+ points from the get-go.

Common sense needs to rise above pride and stubborness at some point. Neither team has anything to gain or to prove by finishing this one. Start preparing for next week and let this one go. Harrison plays Bourbon next week at home.

Harrison could play a double header on friday and still beat Bourbon, but I agree...Barr and Graham need to put their heads together and make a smart decision and let this one go...

what kills me is how can the best game of the year be cancelled in the 1st quarter, but this game in the third quarter with catholic up by 38 points still being played. there coach is a big big sore loser and i hope catholic keeps in there 1st string the entire time tom and wins by 60.

That is how kids get hurt, I am sure that Catholic's coach is smarter than that.
