The only 1:00 game that was close was Jets-Bengals.

Especially given Glenn’s boneheaded decision and play call on the Jets’ opening possession. Handed the good guys a score on a silver platter. That being said, he was playing to win the game. Kudos for that mindset.

Indeed. Defense was abysmal.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the Bengals’ return teams were abysmal, especially late in the game. You can’t keep giving an inferior team the ball with a relatively short field.

By comparison, Pikeville has played Raceland, CAL (by some accounts the best team in the entire Commonwealth), Johnson Central and Belfry. The schedules are light years apart.

My takeaway was that one quality opponent does not equate to a quality schedule.
