I couldn’t watch one team trying to win and one team not. It makes for the worst kind of football. Watched Lions-Vikings instead. I am glad the Stripes ended up above .500 and didn’t go 0-for the division.

I thought that there were two plays that completely changed the momentum of the game. Bengals getting nothing deep in KC territory by eschewing a chip shot FG. Mahomes getting a yard and a half on 4th and 1 late in the game.

And therein lies the crux of the debate. “Most deserving” or “best”. Regardless of which side you support, the notion that Georgia was ranked/seeded behind FSU after the regular season was buffoonery on the part of the Committee.

If this particular incarnation of FSU is in next year’s top twelve, they’d lose to any and all of the other eleven.

Transfer portal has a lot to do with that.

Lamar’s stats aren’t overwhelming, but he would be the overwhelming favorite had the Ravens not let those three early 4th quarter leads get away.

Worst part about it was all the commercials featuring Chiefs. As if you don’t see them enough during the actual game.

Raiders win on the road. Without scoring an offensive touchdown. Without completing a pass after the first quarter. That’s how far the defending champions have fallen. Even Taylor Swift couldn’t save them.

Is it my imagination, or did the tackles get taken to the woodshed? Maybe just a function of playing from behind?
