:thumb: After 2 head to head meeting there is no doubt that these two are the best players in the region, with Owens having the advantage, IMO.

The way this season is going, probably as lucky as you feel. Although you did get one up on AT41, so I'm not so sure a tatoo has been a very good bet this season. :laugh:

But if this is the case, is Dodd too arrogant to swallow his pride??? Without Kasey, he will not win the region title, maybe not even the district title. He needs him because, unlike you stated, Dodd doesn't have the depth on the bench. That has been a weak point for Russell all season long.

The way this region has been this season, most every team stands a real chance of not making it to Morehead, including your red devils.

How would you define a fairly decent job whenever it applies to Owens?? If he only gets his avg of 30 does that qualify?

Tues 2/14 at Rose Hill

Right now looks to be Boyd and Ashland from the 64th, but this district is wide open.

Boyd wil only win by 10-15 pts. They haven't shown the ability to really put teams away this year, and I expect RH will be no different. They have no answer for Owens, just like everyone else, but if the lead does grow very much, Coach Pratt will substitute liberally, as I doubt he would run the score up.

Good experience for Stevie and there will only be brighter and better days ahead for him.

There were several fouls/no calls that went on last night, but for the most part I think the officials did a decent job, even when at one point in the 2nd half 10 fouls had been called on BC to 3 fouls for Russell. But last night the officials let the kids beat bang and grab and seemed like they only called the most obvious of fouls. Plus they seemed to be consistent in their calling, no matter how good or bad people viewed it as.

Congrats to Antonio Owens for being invited to participate in the KY-OH All-star game. This is a great honor for any kid picked to play in this game. Good Luck and represent our state well. And BEAT THOSE BUCKEYES!!!!

I would imagine he was there to watch Owens and Vanhoose, and he got a pretty good show from both if you ask me.

Generally in the high 80's to low 90's. The fastest I've heard from him is 93. He is a good quality pitcher who I wish the best of luck to. As long as he can make the transition to college style pitching he will do great. He neeeds to really work his off-speed stuff because in college you can't blow everyone away lke you can in high school. But Stevie is a heck of a kid and will do great at Cinci. Good win for the lions against a quality opponent. We had an early 12 pt lead and Russell climbed right back into it. Game went down to the last shot and was a fun game to watch. Owens and Vanhoose both played very well. I still don't understand why Coach Pratt played a zone against them though, esp the way Russell shoots. But oh well we won and that is all that matters, I guess.
