Find a coach

This is just a few questions: Do public schols that accept tution students offer Financial aide? Do all private schools offer fFnacial aide? What proof does a private school have to provide if any that all students are paying tution?

I have heard it is Beechwood, SK, Highlands, Cov. Cath, Bye and then these teams but i am not sure of the order Ryle, Boone ,Conner, Campbell, Scott Holmes

Male won state at which level since 2004? Highlands is the only public school to win state in that span, with 3 transfers from Cov. Cath and 1 from Simon Kenton so I will give you that. Ask Highland's coach if they were successful the past 2 years according to him they either win state or they don't and in that span they haven't. So roll your eyes all you want you refuse to see any side of the argument but your own. If one were to look at 1A only you are right there is no problem but like I point out in the past 3 years only one public school has won state in the upper two classes, and they had 3 tranfers from a private school. Even as good as Male is in that time span they are 2 and 3 against private schools. Both wins coming this season over St. X I am just looking for a reason that you don't believe their is an advatage, I believe that part of the advantage comes from their own sucess and that can be said about a Highlands, Male or Beechwood kids want to go there so they can win. You threw 2 teams at me like I was stupid that have not been succesful by THEIR own standards not mine(I envy the sucess of both programs) in that time span.

You love this stat. But why don't you address both ends look at the big school classes. 4 private schools in 3A and 4A since 2004 all have won a state championship while of the 104 public schools in those classes 1 has won a State championship. It is easy to only look for information to support your argument but you will convince me there is no problem when someone can explain how this happens in the big classes and I am not buying the they work harded line

Great point. Here is another interesting stat there are 4 private schools in class 3a and 4a since 2004 everyone of them has won a State Championship, there are 104 public schools in those 2 classes and ONE has won a State championship in that span. We can use numbers and situations to prove our points as we both just did. I do not support a split I would much rather beat these schools.

This is the part that shocks me people blow over this fact like it is okay. This can not be just because the private schools work harder. I think admitting their is a problem is the 1st step. In basketball the publics winning more often reflects the numbers but a group that represents less than 10% should not win 75% of the championships. I am not in favor of a split I just get sick of hearing we work harder that is why we win.

Mike Yeagle has only been gone 1 year and Beechwood was one of the top ranked teams in the state in 1A loosing in the playoffs to NCC (the State Champions) by less than a TD. I wouldn't say that is to far of a slide. He missed the 2002 season and they made it to the finals. Yeagle was a great coach but Beechwood is fine.

I would want my team to be able to be compared with Highlands and CCH, otherwise you will never reach the pinacle of The Big 3.

No I was speaking of Diamond Dandy He said Ryle by 21 that is building them up pretty much. I think Trinity football has earned the respect to think of themselves as favorites in this game (something like 16 championships)but I think Ryle can win if they can keep the ball away from Trinity by pounding it out. But ask yourself this if Ryle can't run the ball is there passing game good enough to beat Trinity

It took Ryle's coach until week 11 to make Murray the featured back. I believe someone said it was the timing of the vote that caused Vince to not be on it as a 1st team Back or backer. He is the best back in NKY, but it was his coaches late discovery of his talent that caused him to be slighted not the other coaches.

No reason for the smart mouth, I never said it was BAD find where I said that. I said it is not strong. and when 3A and in some cases 1A teams man handle some of the better teams in your district you can not say you are strong. The Louisville Region is the test you have to pass in 4A, much like the NKY region in 3A is the test you have to pass to be able to call yourself great, or Strong.

Who do you think would be playing if they switched Districts Highlands to 4A Ryle to 3A?

I agree they wouldn't be playing if they were on the otherside, and some may say the NKY 4A district was competitive but not strong, The NKY 3A district teams destroyed 4A teams when they played them.

Their DB's are good but why was Dixie's WR able to have sucess against them I went back to the paper and looked it up he had 188yds passing and 2 TD 1 Int. I would think Blesser could at least do that well, not to mention CCH' s running game is better than Dixie's As for Highlands it is hard for me to pick any NKY team besides CCH against them, they have only lost 4 games to 2 different NKY schools ( CCH 01, 06, 06 Dixie 02) since 1998

I think Vince woill beat him out because he plays both ways. All kidding aside Vince Murray is a great player and any team would be lucky to have him.

Some may argue they could beat a small college. and Vince Murray is going to win the Heisman.

Actually I have and Highlands and CCH have really Good defense and CCH has a great Offense and I think Ryle would struggle against a good Spread offense. Heck Dixie 's WR passed for 180 yards on them according to the Paper what would Blesser do? I take back that Highlands would drill them but they would still beat them.

How can you say that when you lost to a team. and beat one by two points and then only beat them by 12 without their QB? I know they are the ones left standing but I wouldn't say no one was close to them whem Boone handled them. I was answering a question if they were the best since 94 Boone. Besides that CCH and Highlands would drill Ryle, I have seen all three play.

Ryle is #3 They all have one common opponent scores against that team says Ryle is #3 , but they also say Highlands would be #1 so it may not mean too much. HHS 48- Dixie 0 CCH 28 - Dixie 7 Ryle 16 - Dixie 14 Ryle 24 - Dixie 12
