I saw UK play Idaho State a 1AA team and they were lucky to win that game. The point I was trying to make was that WKU is alot better than alot of people think and being able to go there and start or play as a freshman is not very realistic as someone earlier stated.
It's the same defense that Male plays and Curtis brought that defense with him and he's going to do the same thing so it doesn't matter. It's just a title to make somebody think their doing something. You blitz every gap and play man to man.
Mark Brown graduated from Nelson County but never played football and Mike Holcomb played and graduated from Nelson County. I would be shocked if Bardstown would hire a graduate of Nelson County.
I told my son he could play soccer if he wanted to but he'd just have to live with someone else. He decided to play football and got a full scholarship his senior year at a D-1 school.
Maybe he realizes that he or no one else in that districit can beat Danville and it's time to move on.Danville has won that district since it's conception and with 17 starters coming back I'd say it will continue.
Is this better- Just go do what a kid who lives in another county did, he got himself an educational guardian in a neighboring county and he now plays there.
Just go do what Lincoln County has done this year with a kid that still lives in Garrard County every day.Go get an educational guardian and your kid can obviously go where ever he wants.
They've done well this year and have a descent team but last year they only won 5or 6 games so I don't how they've been going in the right direction. Everybody knows that the 12 th region is one of the weakest in the state.
I'm picking Lincoln County to win the district. They'll have more speed than anyone in the district and have a transfer from Danville next year, if he realizes that basketball is not his ticket.
James Webb would be a great hire for anyone. He came real close to getting the E-town job last year, i believe. I second that about David Williams as well, he'll be Prestons right hand man at Western.
It's amazing what the lack of support from a schools administration can do to the downfall program..if in fact this is really whats going on??! It kinda makes you wonder if the student "walk out" at Nelson was directed at more than just football?! I hope things get figured out there quick, because Im sure this is taking it's toll on the kids..
I definately think Mercer will be in the mix of things again this year. They just have to have some guys step up on the O-line, from TE to TE across the line, they lost 6 out of the 7, I believe, which equals out to be around 1,600 lbs!! :scared:
