Have you been around this team on a daily basis? Just because they play hard doesn't mean that equals a successful team. I never blamed the 49 point loss on a lack of leadership. I blamed the season on a lack of leadership for some of the troubles this team had and by no means did it come from Coach Styer. There is a time when you are in a game and you need a leader on the field which a coach can not do. This is what this team was lacking this whole year. I have not just seen this I have heard this from players as well.

Most ridiculous statement/question. Coach Styer has not lost his team. This team showed a lack of leadership. That is not Coach Styer's fault. He can not designate someone to be a leader they have to step up. For the past 3 years there has been great leadership in the Campbell County Football Program. This year there was none. This team will rebound. They have some great talent moving up.

The "suspensions" did not effect the offense it effected the defense. They (the 1st team defense) were still missing 2 starting seniors that were sitting on the bench during the whole game. The other thing I might say is that Eshman has NEVER played WR for the varsity team this year and the Kremer kid has not gotten as many snaps you may have thought he had this year. This game was plain and simple one team wanted to play and one did not and the score reflected this. There should be no excuses on what team played when because both teams (1st & 2nd) got out played. Good Luck to Dixie on their playoff game against Ashland.

I have no idea. He only got in for one play. The game was a very good game. Do not have many details besides when CC's defense needed to step up they did. Congrats to both teams on a successful season.

Campbell County was in charge the whole game IMO. Great game by every Campbell County player. Good luck to the freshman Camels next Wednesday when they play the Ryle Raiders

I said this in a previous game thread but the Campbell County defense was on the field the MAJORITY of the time in BOTH of those games because the offense could not get it going. This offense has gotten much better since those 2 games. This is a different Campbell County team then the team that played Boone & Ryle at the beginning of the season.

Yes and I think this year 6A has the Lexington schools. Someone told me it would the schools in the Tates Creek district.

I was not at the game but could it have been that SK's JV was going against Boone County's JV? I am not saying you are right or wrong but just curious. I remember that SK had a very good freshman team last year but like one person said on here it doesn't always follow suit to varsity.

This is all confusing but could you explain why you say that if Campbell beats Simon they would be the 2 seed. I think it might also come down to who beats NCC correct or am I looking way ahead?

No, the football announcer is a parent of one of the football players. The basketball announcer is a student from NKU. He also does some announcing for the Florence Freedom I THINK.

Not taking anything away from him but I think the DBs from Campbell County did a pretty good job cover him. He ONLY had 41 yards against Campbell.

I am not saying Boone & Ryle do not have good defenses but during both games the Campbell County offense shot themselves in the foot. I would like to see what the difference was with the time of possession was between the offense and defense was during the Boone Co. game.
