I do not remember his name but he was a very tough runner....He seemed to always get an extra 2 or 3 yards after contact. Butler was undefeated until the last game of the season against X

1. Only 11 can play at a time...there is actually a penalty for 12 or more. If this point was valid then X and Trinity would be dominating basketball...they are not. X and T have not been to the finals in many, many years! 2.Working harder...can't say..do not know what other programs do....do know that these guys do work hard in off-season as well. 3. maybe 4. Excellent coaches that not only teach football, but teach life and get involved in these kids lives as well. That is one of the reasons for the large numbers..everyone wants to play for these coaches...also asst. coaches are top notch also...heck the freshman team's Lineman coach is NFL All Pro Lineman Will Woolford. Hard to beat that. 5.Only facility draw at X is the largest high school weight room in the state. ...for all that hard work from # 2. 6. Very tight bond......beyond playing together...pray together...and are family together .Ex-tiger Will Woolford is a volunteer! Glaser and the majority of the staff are all graduates. This bond might explain 38,500 fans at a regular season high school football game. In the top nationally!

He played for Sacred Heart Model, then when his family moved to Ind. He played for St. Anthony's Football team that competes in the Louisville Catholic Athletic Association.

RB Vic Anderson of X has to be high on the list.

I've been involved in the Louisville Catholic school sytsem for over 30 years as a player, student, parent and coach. I have never heard anything about this or even rumored about this. If you have information...report it. If you are just guessing or concluding without facts...you are being highly irresponsible! Remember how dangerous stereotyping can be and think about how you would feel if you were stereotyped and accused of something based on assumptions and not facts!

What was I thinking?...even more scary with Eckman....Is it possible for this team to be even better next year? What is the lineman outlook for next year?

I totally agree....who's wrong here...the player who broke the rule! Next we'll be letting criminals get away with crimes because they can play a sport....whoops...we already do that don't we??????

Sounds like another stellar defensive year for the Purples

Deuce is one heck of an athlete....He was clocked around the 4.5 /4.6 range at the very beginning of the football season...I believe he has improved this. He has very Vic like moves except that he is more of a power runner. I think he weighs about 20 more pounds than Vic and has much bigger thighs. His yards per carry average for the Frosh had to be insane. He seemed to break every 3rd run for 6.

He is short...5'8"...maybe..but you can't argue with his production. While I am certainly not a Trinity supporter....I do think this kid is good....I just do not believe ,as some Rocks do, that he is the second coming of Brian Brohm. Height has been the main knock against this guy....Maybe we should ask Doug Flutie if it can be overcome.

I agree with this one...he was little green early in the year...but has made great improvements...even as a running threat. Next year he will be a lot more comfortable w/ the system and the role....

You are partly right...X and T do sell themselves.........but these other arguments about being fair don't measure up....If they were true...then X and T would be playing for the basketball and baseball titles as well. When was the last time either of these teams even made it to the final in those sports?

While Trinity has a lot of points to make up for ...from last game..... They have made significant adjustments They have a very good Coaching Staff They have quality players They have passion. X has the same qualities....will be a coaching duel and I believe the game will rely on the play of the lineman. I hoping Trinity's adjustments aren't enough to get it done. Go Tigers!

We have covered this and covered this....Here it is one more time...please pay attention....an outside agency..in my case an out of town agency...decides on tuition assistance based on tax returns, pay check stubs, etc....No where on any of the forms that I filled out or my parents filled out does it ask for height, weight, sports interests etc.... My brothers got aid and did not play any sports!!! along with many, many students.

Trinity is not allowed to recruit either....and you've got it backwards...players pay to go to Trinity...it's called tuition! Do not try to deflect from the wrong that was done by your team by making unfounded, unsupported claims. If you have information about any wrong-doing by any school...report it! Trinity takes pride (as well as my school) in discipline. That is why your team's actions have caused such an outrage among the Rock and Tiger faithful. It is our belief that discipline makes our teams great not to mention that it is the mark of a true man! Trinity even has the word "discipline" on their helmets.
