This is a "Best High Schooler" right? I can't believe no one has mentioned Travis Atwell. He was Mr. Football and one of the best bball players in the state. He scored 50 points in a high school game. If he had played at Highlands, Trinity, or Male everyone would have him on their list.

Coach French was at Mercer for the 88-89 season and went 10-2 with both losses coming against Danville. MC had a very good team that year.

Anyone heard the Male/PRP score?

There is no reason to think that MC could not play this year with anyone in the state (with maybe the exception of the B3). The have the speed, size, and numbers to play with anyone.

Highlands and CCath WILL be in 5A next year...They were granted permission to "play up".
