I really think CovCath has to score 40 to win. JC will put up 21 before they even get off the bus.

I still think if Cov Cath scores 40 they win. If they don't they lose.

Not many JC fans post on BGP. The feel I get from a lot of locals is a great deal of respect for Cov Cath and expectations of a battle. I would agree many feel they don't know how good we are because of the schedule. One thing is for sure whoever wins this one will take highlands down next week 31-28.

I think JC and crazy Matney may be the best thing for Boyle co. All the talk is JC and Highlands. Kinda let them fly under the radar a little.

For the record I would put Cov Cath in that group. Didn't mean any disrespect just forgot them.

Highlands will easily walk through this group but I would love to see any combination of a matchup between JC, Collins,Boyle,and Lex Cath. I don't think much seperates the 4 for 2nd in the class.

All this tells us is that if Highlands needs to score 70 to beat you they will.

JC is really good. We aren't Highlands good but good nonetheless. Looks like yet another year of being the 2nd or 3rd best team in our class. No shame in that.

I think it the answer is both up and down in the state. The top teams seem to be down a little while the middle of the pack schools seem to be on a slight uptick.

Shame on them for playing district games. Being a big school in eastern ky makes it hard to get games. When you throw in having a coach that's a jackball it's impossible to get games. Most years playing Belfry, Ironton, and Ashland makes a decent schedule.

I blame the other teams punter for kicking it to where he did. I can't believe no one on here is blaming Matney for working with the other team on this one! For the record I believe it's great for the kid but not the same as a regular field goal.

Saying you don't always seem like you have a chip on shoulder toward JC is as funny as the crap Matney does. It's ok to dislike a school just don't hide behind it. As for this -30 yard play I still can't defend it. The coach is getting what he asked for so I see online jabs at him perfectly acceptable.

Thread after the game will quickly turn into Highlands winning somehow. So ill go ahead and take the birds by 2 Tds over T and X in this one!
