Im a JC fan that wasnt at the game so Ill have to talk in general instead of this game. Since when is 49-7 running up the score in high school football? I have no problem with the occassional pass with your JV when its 30 or 40 points. If it were 89-7 then ok maybe not. Onside kicks are another thing, that would kinda be uncalled for late with a big lead. Is this more than a local paper speculating or did the JC coach tell them this? If its true then shame on our coach but Im guessing its early and this is all talk. Bottom line is Congrats to Boyle and their fans for the beating you handed out and good luck the rest of the way. This is one JC fan that will be rooting for you.

I am a JC fan that agrees Highlands should win the state title with little trouble. The JC program has taken a huge step IMO this season in earning respect across the state. You cant build a program that is respected and well known state wide in a single season. Making the the semi-finals a few years ago was a big step but to me the win last week may have been the biggest step in that direction JC has ever took. A win or close game against Highlands would be huge but all but one team in each class ends the season out matched or out played for one game, this should be JC's week for that. I see Highlands winning by 3 or 4 TDs but JC's program will keep marching in the right direction.

Scored points? Listening to a few on here Im guessing JC shouldnt even try. Its a done deal. I only hope the Highlands players are on here and buying into that.
