She was so good she played with the men down the Newport stadium, and they could'nt stop her either.

I attended a girls game the other night, and it brought back some good old memories of one of the best girls players I had ever seen, Newport LadyWildcats Donna Murphy, she was a pioneer for girls Basketball throughout the State.

36th District Championship: Newport-vs-Highlands -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Should be a barnburner! The LadyWildcats have All-Star standouts Tamara Sneed and Megan Price, the Bluebirds are big and quick but a little young. Look for Newport to win their first District title they've won in a while!! Should be a great game. The outcome depends on if Refs let them play or if they call it close. It will be great to see "Big Ben" Guidugli and the Keirnan boy go at it! The Bluebirds seem to have to much depth. H-61 NCC-55

Troy Mckinley one of the better true shooters the 9th Region has ever seen. Remember Mckinley and the Pioneers, the only 9th Region Team that ever won the "Sweet Sixteen".

Now everyone is saying, that Coach Code from Bishop did shake hands after the game against Newport. If he did my family and I did not see him do it, But apologize for the any misconception. (Good luck Bishop Brossart the rest of the season.)

I, The Head Director was sure that coach Code did not shake hands with the Wildcats team and Coaching staff. Evidently I have made a mistake, and I apologize to Coach Code and the 1st class act program that Bishop Brossart has. Again I am sorry, but the hand shake did not happen where my family and I could see it!!! But good luck BB and I hope you do well in the Disrict!!!

I was at the game. It was a hard fought battle by both teams, BB recieved all the close calls and the coach was still mad. When he did'nt shake hands and stormed off to the locker room, I really could'nt believe it! If Bishop Brossart has the class act program, I feel they have, they should send a letter of apology!!!

Look for the Breds to win this up-and-coming rivalry, I don't think the Mustangs can stop Keirnan, and the Breds shoot from the outside alot better. NCC-60 BB-55 (No disrepect to either team, Good Luck both teams).

That's pretty impressive, the Colonels should be winning a few Regionals Titles in the next couple of years!!
