He had atleast one catch out of the backfield tonight that went for about 70 yards. The offensive line was very strong tonight. Rouse didnt throw great but for about 100-200 yards. Ran three TDs and threw two as well. Mills ran very hard running over defenders late in the game. Great job panthers! :thumb:

Credit Ludlow's defense for forcing those fumbles.

Jarrett Rouse - Ludlow threw for 210 yards 2 TDs and ran for 2 TDs. Rushing yards are unknown but he had over 50 on just two runs alone.

I saw the Dayton - Holmes game and IMO both teams need a lot of work on special teams. Both teams could not stop the long returns which lead to most of the scoring. I believe HC will be much more disciplined on special teams and therefore will win the game.

One thing i was impressed with last night as far as the ludlow team goes. I was impressed with the late fourth quarter drive they put together. They didnt lay down and die as teams in the past would have. Good win for the Panthers. :thumb:

Dayton starter, (Ellis?) is no passing threat, at all. He seemed to feel the pressure and just let it fly right to a holmes defensive back. I hear hes a strong runner but they never ran him. Both teams played very strong D. Im nor a Dayton or Holmes fan at heart. But in my opinion if holmes had a better passing attack they win by 30+ thats just my assumption. Great win for Dayton! (sorry Lickert)

How many yards did Bird have? How about Rouse? Does anyone know stats? This was a great game, wonderful atmosphere. :thumb:

I don't remember reading how large a school Trimble County is or what football class they represent. Ludlow is a small class A school located in northern Kentucky and has just under 500 students from the 7th - 12th grades.

Ludlow scored on a 70 yard pass from QB Jarrett Rouse to WR Grant Logan to start the game. The starting offensive unit had five possessions, scoring a touchdown on all five of them. 3 passing and 2 rushing. The score at the end of the first quarter was 33-3 i believe. Gallatin fought very hard and didnt quit. Final score was, Ludlow-46 Gallatin-23. (i believe)

Buddy Lunsford did practice today. He looked much better in my opinion. Did sit out a few plays to stretch, but other than that it looks like he's back. :thumb: Good news for Panther fans!

Only what you already know. Therapy this week then go from there. Im thinking about stopping down to practice tomorrow to see how he looks out there.

I agree with that. Ludlow fans seem to be very loyal to the team. I remember there 32 game losing streak. It didnt matter every home game the stands were still full. Whether or not they make the late night trip im not to certain. But i know i will be there to support these two teams. Sounds like a great one too.:thumb:

Ludlow scrimmages newport at newport on the 10th and Gallatin County at home on the 17th. I believe. They also have an intrasqud scrimmage this friday.

I hear its a minor injury. Maybe a groin im not certain. He can participate to an extent in practice but the coaches are being limiting as i believe they should be this early on.

No way. The kid is good and has potential. He's solid at every aspect and plays hard every night. But when you question the top players in the 9th hes not one that comes to mind in my opinion. He is one of the better shooters out there tho.

Best in the 9th is possibly a stretch. But for where he's located and what he has to work with he is the best man for the job. He's a player favorite and all the girls love playing for him. Good luck to coach stamm this season hope its another banner year for the him and the panthers. :thumb:

Not so fast. I hear the Lundsford kid is struggling with an injury right now thats keeping him out of some practices. I watched one the other day and he wasnt as sharp as he usually is. But this game is about 4-5 weeks away im sure he'll be 100% by then.
