Many of those water bottle holders at St Matthews and German Town came back. I would venture to say that Manual lost more players than the Oldham County Schools did.

Why should a 3a school play 6a teams? Especially a team that was 7-34 the first 4 years?

I agree and disagree- One school would do very well against anyone. St. X should pounce a neighborhood school, South is better this year, North's schedule is not a joke. Oldham Co schools do get side bar status in the paper. Oc and North will be around or in the top 10 all year.

Anyone know when the Courier-Journal preview is coming out?

Saw this on an earlier post, for some reason it was closed? Both teams had their moments. Neither team played all that well, in the end after North scored to make it 14-13, North was stopped on the 2-pt conversion by Dunbar. Last drive added some drama to a particularily uneventful scrimmage. The JV's finished the 3rd quater with North getting the edge there; while the 9th graders finished the 4th playing to a stalemate.

North Oldham in 3a should go with Moore- Shawnee dist- only a 15 min drive compared to all the N- KY schools

We have several every year that could go. Out of this years team 7-10 would qualify. 5-10 could athletically play there, many chose to be a student at a large school instead of playing football at a smaller level. Hopefully more will chose to play football at schools like Centre, instead of just being another student at a larger school.

Signed today at 9:30. Had a new Centre jersey on, and our team was there to share in his special day. This is the first football player to sign a scholarship in the 5 year history of North Oldham.

Ryan Gallas from North Oldham has just signed. He will be an outstanding player and student for them. He led the Mustangs this year with 148 tackles, and the best record in the schools short history.

North Oldham Lb/Fb/Wr--- Ryan Gallas has signed to play football and attend Centre next year. Ryan was a 3 year starter for the Mustangs and All-District the past two seasons. Congrats to Ryan.
