I am pretty sure the JBS Buckhorn game was cancelled due to the weather.

Ok. What is going to happen with these counties like Knott County who have no midde school. Will these kids have to go to Knott County or Cordia or will they get to choose where they want to go?

Here in the 14th region "Daddy's Boy" seems to be the favorite when playing JBS...

This was a couple of years ago but it still happened. Wolfe County done this to Knott County Central in the 05 season. They was down 20 so they figured they would hold the ball. So Knott Centrals coach said 2 can play that game and during the 4th quarter he had the girls hold the ball and Wolfes coach got mad. Not to mention looked at a girl on the floor and screamed so everyone could here him, take her out! So the girl tackled Knott Centrals point guard which was Kasi Mullins- Galloway.

I have seen a team hold the ball for half of the 2nd quarter. They got the ball after halftime and held the ball for the entire 3rd quarter. but the sad thing was...they were losing by 20

I personally like Knott Centrals gym...Plenty of seating. All KCC needs to do is add another exit route and they are set. I would like to see them, this will never happen, but to put another set of end zone seats for the opposing pep section! Which I must say Knott Centrals pep club has really gotten into it this year.

I am not to sure on her exact stats but I do know she is 6'1"-6'2". She plays forward/center. She is avg. 20 some odd points a game and double digits in rebounding. I will try and get her exact stats for you all as soon as possible.

You could add Kristen Madden of Perry Central too...But everyone knows Eastern Kentucky kids don't win anything. Always the big city schools.

South Laurel does play in the Bourbon County Invitational. If they win the play the winner of Knott County Central and Maysville St. Patrick.

I read somewhere else that he broke his finger at the start of their last game.

I thought Cordia was suppose to be good this year...They let Buckhorn beat them...must not be to good or is Buckhorn that good?

Leslie is very streaky....there are times when they can play with anyone and everything us clicking for them and then there are times when they looke horrible...

Knott led all the way up till the 4th quarter. Then Randy figured out how to beat them.

I am glad to see that someone else hasn't counted the Lady Patriots out all ready. They may not have alot of experience and they may not be very big but they have the heart to beat any one. They gave Perry a run for their money on Perry's floor. Not alot of teams do that. Breathitt looks good this season as well. I haven't seen Leslie play yet. How is Stidham doing this year? Is Boggs playing?

They didnt play because of the bad weather. The game will be played on a later date.

Knott Central's entire team is underclassmen besides one girl who is Britany Ashley. Megan Mosley would have to be right up there with the best in my opinion.

Yes, Hazard is having one...Knott County plays Boyle County at 12:45..That is the only game that I know the time to.

Perry Central is always the clear favorite to win the region...They was last year, and the year before that, and the year before that as well...I could just keep on going and going. IMO the only reason they are consistantly on top is because they never rebuild like the rest of the teams in the region.

Oops I did forget Hazard and Cordia but according to the schedule Wolfe isnt playing in the ALL A this year.

The teams in it this year are, Knott, Owsley, Lee, June Buchanan, Buckhorn, Riverside, Jackson City, Jenkins, and Jackson City. Right now I would have to say Knott is the favorite.

Buckhorn has improved alot over the course of this summer but they just arent big enough nor do they have as much talent as these other schools. I will give them credit yes, they have came out and proved everyone wrong and that they can win games and can be a good team. But as of right now I just don't see them beating no one besides JBS, Jackson City, Riverside and so on.

They may beat Riverside or Jackson City, and as of now June Buchanan as well, but no one else.

It is the race to E.A. Diddle. As all ways Perry will baiscally own the region and Breathitt right behind then. Owsley only played Knott once and when they did if I recall it wasn't to close of a game. You are right Knott plays smart ball and people get mad at them for doing so. Mosley is one of the best shooters I know. If Amburgey can keep all of his key players heads up they will be just fine. I haven't really heard much on Wolfe..Who do they return???

Perry will be on the top this year and I am saying this and I come from Knott County...I look for PCC to go to Bowling Green this year...Breathitt will have the 2nd best team. Leslie, Knott, and Hazard will be closely behind. Everyone talks about how KCC wont be any good...They are better than what most people think they are. Leslie is loaded with talent and Hazard is as well.
