I agree. He's been very impressive in the two varsity games I've seen him play, and he's put up some big numbers in the freshman and JV games.

I'm excited for this game tomorrow. This very well could be the best game of the 39th district tournament.

Now that both teams have closed out their regular season, what do you think the outcome of this game will be? Mason County didn't have an answer for Klee last game, but St. Pat didn't have an answer for Menke last time. Should be interesting, but I see St. Pat edging Mason County in a very close game.

Montgomery jumped out to a 21-4 lead, and never looked back. Mason County was led by K. Menke with 14, and Smith with 9. Montgomery Co. scoring was very balanced, with 16 for Webb, 14 for Lee, 11 for Prewitt, Garland 8, Jehlik 8, Colliver 6, Cincotta 6.

Haight has another double-double, her fourth in five games, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Nice win for Bracken heading into districts next week!

Yes, Pfeffer really got things going in the first half, where she scored all of her points. She is a great floor leader and passer. Alexx hit some huge shots in the fourth quarter that kept bringing Fleming County closer. It would have been interesting to see how close they could've made it had they converted on their free throws.

A family member of mine went through this scenario. He wanted to pursue baseball at the next level, and the coach kept putting off sending videos or taking videos, but wouldn't let the parents take videos, so it was a lose/lose. Luckily he was talented enough to get noticed by a team on his own. Coaches like this are just inexcusable. You would think most coaches would take pride in their player playing at the next level, but I think a lot of them are just too lazy or preoccupied to worry with their athletes. It's really sad.

I definitely agree with the hard play. Especially Fleming County. During the middle of the season, I would have thought they would get beaten by 20, but they really hung in there tonight, even when they got down double digits. Free throw shooting really hurt them. Puente was constantly at the line, and only ended up with 2 points, so that was a big factor right there. St. Pat moves on to play Rowan County Friday.

A lot of missed opportunities from the free throw line for Fleming County, especially in the 4th quarter.

Well, it never should be ALL about the stats. Averaging 20 or 30 is great, but are you passing, rebounding, defending, and being successful as a team? Scoring points isn't everything, but there are a lot of people who still think it means everything, including some players, I'd imagine.

Emmons has 22, but only 6 in the second half. St. Pat adjusted well on her in the second half, as she made 4 3's in the first two quarters, and only 1 more the rest of the game. Ann Klee had 24, 14 in the first half and 10 in the second. Good all around game for her, and good bench production from St. Pat this game. The seniors go out with a bang, as it was senior night for these ladies.

Anyone else heard? I just heard that she tore her ACL. How does this affect Deming's post-season?

Same here. Not saying it couldn't happen, but Montgomery Co. will be on a mission come tournament time, and will be very hard to stop.

I'm going with St. Pat all the way, but if Mason County plays like they have been, then they will definitely make it interesting. You can't count out Bracken either. They have played some close games with St. Pat.
