I didn't see a thread, so I posted it. Sounds like it was pretty close. Anyone have any details? Congrats to Montgomery and good luck in the finals. It should be a very good game.

It definitely wasn't pretty. I listened to the second half on the way home and they were up by 18, then in the 4th quarter they let the lead slip down to 7. They can't do that tomorrow if they want to beat Rowan County. They'll need 4 solid quarters of play. Congrats, though on making the finals. That's something for their first ever trip to region. Make it a memorable one!

Wow. I'm a little shocked. Didn't see this coming at all. Congrats to Scott High on the win. Maybe they can make some noise in the rest of the tournament. Congrats to St. Pat on a great season. Congrats to the seniors, you all helped make the season unforgettable for your school. St. Pat will be a contender for several years down the road, as they are producing more and more young talent.

This should be a really interesting and entertaining game to watch. If Montgomery has Rash, I say they win. If not, Harrison wins. Close game either way, though. 5-10 points.

Mason County should win this game by about 10-12 points. They can't come out flat like they have in past games, or they will find themselves in some trouble. Should be an interesting game.

Mason County has some talented freshman. They are just now getting some minutes at the varsity level, but have provided impressive freshman and jv stats. Tyler Black, Josh Harris and Connor Osbourne will all be good for the Royals in a few years, maybe sooner.

I knew they wouldn't let East beat them twice. Congrats East on a great season, and congrats to Rowan on the win.

They key is to stop Emmons. If she gets hot from behind the arc early, then it's gonna be a long night. But Elliott County should win this one by around 10.

Madison Central has several young players playing quality minutes. I look for them to be pretty solid in the next few years.

I'll take Montgomery by 15-20 points if they are really on their game. If they come out flat, then this could be close for awhile, but Montgomery is the clear favorite.

Congrats to Campbell. They have a tough task ahead of them with Montgomery County.

Wow bold prediction. I could honestly see either St. Pat or Clark in the finals, but it's Montgomery's to lose this year.

It always plays out more interesting than everyone would think. That's what makes tournament time fun and special! Of course you should go to the games.:thumb:

I'm gonna go with a Montgomery Co. and St. Patrick final.

Well... Mason County was turning into quite a good team at the end of the year, but they had a blind draw and drew the best team in the district for the first round (St. Patrick) and now are sitting at home during region. I think every district should seed so that you can truly say that the best teams went to region. I'm not saying that Mason was better than Bracken, or vice-versa, but technically they should have played each other the first round of district play if it were seeded.

The latter definitely looks better for Elliott County. They could make a strong run to the finals.

Interesting draw for Rowan County since East beat them once already this year.

Probably the best they could get, really. In a separate bracket than Montgomery. Clark is tough though, but if they beat Scott, that will be a great game. Bracken, however, not so lucky.

Montgomery over Bracken, Campbell over Deming, St. Pat over Scott, and Clark over Harrison. Montgomery beats Campbell, and I'm gonna say that St. Pat avenges their loss earlier in the season and beats Clark. The clear, obvious favorite is Montgomery, but you can't count St. Pat out either. That being said, though, it's Montgomery's to lose.
