Final from Harrison County!

St. Pat trailed by as much as 13 in the final quarter, closed it to three and Scott held on for the victory. I'm shocked...

Is that a big upset , or a big big upset ?

I'm stunned ... first St. Pat lose to Paris in the All A finals and then lose in the first round of the region. I'm very surprised at this score.

St. Patrick defeated Scott by 5 at Scott in the regular season.

Scott is very talented this year but for some reason it just never came or meshed together during the season for them to do any real damage. Looks like they are coming together though at the right time.

Congrats to Scott on the win.

Kudos to St. Pat... you had our number all year. Be proud of a great season. You deserve more credit than I wanted to give you.

Great season Saints.

Congratulations to Scott. They played a great game. The Lady Saints made some runs but never could get over the hump. Congratulations to the Lady Saints on a fine season. I hate to see it end. Good luck next year.

This was the best team effort of the year for Scott against a quality opponent. Tibbs did not have to carry the load. Davis really stepped up on the weakside when they were bringing the double teams. Benzinger had a great game and hit some big free throws down the stretch when St. Pats made their run. Pelle handled the pressure defense all night. Everyone that played contributed to this win. Way to go Lady Eagles on a big upset win.

I agree with everything you said. They played a great game and if they can play like that the next 2 games look out.

The big play in this game was the turnover by St Pat with 2:08 to go and down 3.

Good luck Lady Eagles. St Pat you had a great season and good luck in the future! Hold your heads up, YOU represented the school very well this year!:dancingpa

Way to go Lady Eagles. You did not listen to the nay sayers who picked you to lose by as much as 15 points. You went out there and played the best team ball I have seen you play all year. Congratulations and keep it up. You just never know what might happen. Nice job by all 3 seniors tonight.

You want to play your best ball at the end of the season and the Lady Eagles did. This was not the same team we played last month. People that had you picked to lose by 15 points must have not known that you could play that well.

 All I can say!

Congrats to Scott on the win.

As a St Pat father, THANKS. Your right you didn't give us much credit all year, but when it is all over we can still be friends.:thumb:

Wow. I'm a little shocked. Didn't see this coming at all. Congrats to Scott High on the win. Maybe they can make some noise in the rest of the tournament.

Congrats to St. Pat on a great season. Congrats to the seniors, you all helped make the season unforgettable for your school. St. Pat will be a contender for several years down the road, as they are producing more and more young talent.
