Tyler Rich is doing very well this year...He draws so much defense off from our outside shooters and is a very good defender.

I think it will be close with Owsley winning at home. Just my opinion.

It all depends on which Lee team shows up. They have been in a shooting slump lately. But if they hit like they did on that streak of theirs, they should win. But we shall see.

I'll agree with Berryman. A good player. Congleton and Neeley are good choices as well. I don't think that enough people know how good Caleb Fetters and Ken Brandenburg from Lee are.

Looks like Owsley is playing a little better now. Good for them. They deserve some wins after the struggle of a season they have had so far. And with Breathitt beating Leslie, who knows what these Owls can do?

Powell is playing good right now and will be tough at districts. The 56 district may be one of the worst to get out of Ronnie, I agree. Good job estill

Can't disagree too much there. Lee drops out after a loss to KCC at KCC, and that is understandable. Hopefuly they can make a good run at the all A and crack the top ten again. Also no Leslie which I agree with after a loss to Breathitt at Leslie.

Good job Breathitt County. Wow. Nobody expected this. Just goes to show you, don't overlook anyone or it will bite you.

People are always afraid to pick their team in threads like this one. But I think if Lee wins at Jackson City, they will win the All A region. Thats my opinion.

I understand and agree. I mean no one wants to be turned away. But at the same time, it tends to happen at sporting events where lots of fans want to attend. I mean for an extreme example; UK plays at Rupp Arena which seats over 20,000 and there are still plenty of people who would like to attend that can't. While Jackson City and Lee Co aren't "UK" and Breathitt's gym may be open there are probably other concerns too, such as insurance covering it; would Breathitt's officials be open to the idea, etc. etc. I definately understand and agree with your point of view but at the same time I can see why it's being played where it's being played. I'm just glad there is this much interest in a game that Lee Co. is a part of; as I am sure the JC fans are for their team as well.

Just to let everyone know, I went to Jackson to purchase some tickets and spoke to the principal there. First let me say that he is truly one of the nicest and sincerest people I have met. He let me know that while they were pre-selling some tickets, it was not a large amount, but enough to permit the Jackson City's players' families and the faculty to attend. (He sent Lee Co.'s coach an allottment of tickets to do the same). Also they are holding back 350 (at the minimum) to sell at the door. He said that for some reason a couple of radio stations have reported that they are already sold out and he went on to assure me that this was not true. I hope this alleviates any concern. As to why they are playing at Jackson City; an offical told me that the game had to be played at one game or the other and as JC has already played Lee at home it is only fair this game be held at JC. I agree. Anyway, just thought I'd share what I knew and would like to wish both teams the best of luck. And would like to once again send my thanks and gratitude to the Jackson City principal and school officials for being so polite and understanding.

Dang Ronnie, what did Owsley do to you? haha.. I kinda agree though. I think Hazard will win here fairly easy. 10-14 though is my prediction. Smith and Neeley BOTH need to have stellar games to win. You know what you will get with Congleton, who, IMO, is one of the most consistant players in the 56th, but Hazard gets the job done I think.

I think Lee County players have been very tired and it showed against KCC and Powell. I think they will practice lightly and really try to put tons of effort into the Jackson City game. I don't think the game will be a dissappointment!

Well, this is the game to watch in the 14th All A with many feeling this game will decide the winner or at least one of the finalists in the all A. Lee won the first battle in Beattyville but struggled a little at KCC. Jackson City is playing very well. Can Lee defeat JC at home, or will JC avenge their loss earlier in the season? I really like both teams and wish both well, but I am hoping that Lee can win this one.

True AUGGER. Of course, as my name indicates, im a little partial, but the regionals will be fun to watch.

I think that defeats the purpose of playing district games then. If you could get lucky and make the region no matter what, that sucks because the best team should go, or the team who beat the best team...get what im saying.
