  4. As the numbers in the Catholic grade schools continue to drop, the private high school demographics are definitely changing to fill the open spots.
  5. In all seriousness, I do have a lot of respect for the Ryle team and football community. I had a great time with a few of them last season when they visited St. X. in the playoffs. They were all 1st class people. Nonetheless, this Trinity team is a football machine, far beyond that which most of us are accustomed to seeing at the high school level. The Raiders task in this game is indeed daunting, which is why I said what I said. However, stranger things have happened and I wish you the best of luck in this encounter. :thumb:
  6. Now that is scarey.....just ask Manual's AD.
  7. Reading comprehension has just recently been receiving more emphasis from the higher education gurus. To many it is a lost art. With a little bit of luck against Scott County, your Bulldogs too can place their foot in the doo-doo pit after Ryle gets drown in the latrine.
  8. What so horrible did we ever do to you, nWo, to deseve this rearend kicking you have been giving us....MERCY MASTER....MERCY!! Are you really this sadistic?? :notworthy: :scared: :notworthy:
  9. The 6A state title game was played last night at Papa John's, and it was only a good game for the 1st half. Ryle is just the next in line for stepping in deep doo-doo. :isurrender:
  10. Ryle should just thank their blessings that they at least made the semi-finals before they had to play this semi-pro team from Trinity. There is no one who is going to stop this group of Rocks. The sad part about this is that all the true major 6A contending teams were all in the east side of the bracket. This 6A state championship game will be a total afterthought unless Trinity plays strictly their freshmen team (and even then they would be the favorite to win it all).
  11. Sorry DF, time flies when you're having fun. I forgot how horrible we all did in Week 1.
  12. Question....If Dragonfire only received 16 points this week, how could he have a total of 35? If he had a perfect 18 in Week 1, isn't 34 the highest total he could possibly have?
  13. The love that keeps on giving...as usual TA, your bitter warts from everyone not sharing your vision of the actual essence of Trinity are showing. I haven't gone anywhere. As CentreRocks has noted, both Alan60 and I have been saying all season that this Trinity team was the best Rock squad ever (at least until next year). Despite much skepticism from the BGP Rock community, I think that the results this season have proven us somewhat correct. I was very encouraged by the Tigers performance in the 1st half last night, but the writing was on the wall when Trinity quickly took advantage of Hall's fumble to go ahead by two scores early in the 2nd half. For us to have a chance, we had to play mistake-free and control the ball. Once behind by double digits, the lack of passing efficiency at QB again reared its ugly head. Congratulations to the Rocks and good luck against Ryle and Male/Scott County moving forward.

  17. Not sure about him being out, but he only played the first half of the 1st quarter last time they played Ballard before going out with an injury. The Tigers won then without Lamont, so I know they are capable of getting the win (although it does make it harder).
  18. This could get very ugly considering the vast difference in speed and strength of schedule. The OxLook says: Male 45 - Graves County 13
  19. Scott County has been hardened by a tough schedule and is now on a roll. Central Hardin, on the other hand, ripped off eight straight victories against weak to medium strength teams before stumbling in their final two regular season outings against two medium strength opponents. Scott County has been properly preped for the stretch run, while Central Hardin has been drastically overrated in some polls. The OxLook says: Scott County 34 - Central Hardin 20
  20. 5-Meade County 3-Newport Central Catholic 3-Warren Central 1-Elizabethtown 1-Saint Xavier 1-Monroe County 1-Bowling Green 1-Murray 1-Simon Kenton 1-Mason County TB-47
  21. nWo, you have set a record here with your game picks! In all my years on this site, I can never remember any football contest where the winning score was as low as 6 out of 18............ENOUGH TASKMASTER........ENOUGH! :scared:
  22. Class 6A favorite (at least according to some) Simon Kenton is obviously playing very close to the vest to avoid having the Saint X's, Trinity's, Ryle's, Ballard's, Henry Clay's, Male's etc., etc. indentify where their true strength lies.................. :sssh:
  23. Final.....I think I was one of the few who correctly picked this one in the contests.
  24. How can two teams not currently ranked, who advance through a bracket where the competition is mediocre at best, present any feasible case that they are worthy of being ranked as a top 6A team. Just to satisfy our curiosity, please let us know which two upper bracket teams not currently ranked in the Top 10 you believe should replace Seneca and PRP. With this knowledge, we can better focus our discussion.
