I will be there! However this is the first time I will be watching softball and not baseball. It is a great trip for everyone. I will be watching baseball at the Expo on the Raceland girls fastpitch day off Monday April 1st.

Russell in 2006 lost district to Greenup Co. and won the 16th the next week.

No way the get in unless they win the SEC I don't see them winning out and they could drop either the Arkansas and Ole Miss game. I don't think they beat Vandy,Tennessee, and Florida either. I see probably 4 more lossses in the future. I will say this recent win streak has the NIT absolutely thrillied!

:confused:You really think that Raceland could have a "bad" draw this season. Russell and Greenup Co. should be tickled to death that one of them teams will be in Morehead. You can say what you want but the draw has helped Raceland several times and it has hurt us several times. Seeding will do the same. Yes it would help the Rams this year, but what about next? In high school sports you never know when your down years come a good draw could put you in the region. That generally doesn't happen with seeding.

Greenup co. continues to get beat badly. It is a sad sad situation for the Muskies down in Lloyd this season. Kids continue to suffer because of the lack of support from some of the adminstrators and parents.

Wow! We went to the Ohio St.-Fichigan game last night and we got in the car and Florida was leading at the half! What happened did Florida play everyone? That is 2 straight 20 point losses. Is Billy D coaching or is it Billy G over there making the calls for the Gators.

Don't get too excited they have played two of the three worse teams in the SEC. South Carolina, and Georgia are the worse teams in the east division. Yes the CATS are better from December, but as Vince Lombardi says "when you hit rock bottom you can only go up from there." I have never seen a group as talented as Gillispie has underachieve at 10-9 so bad and UK fans be so happy.

Thanks spindoc, I feel the same way about Coach Morris, he will be missed greatly in our community and school for the next year!

Great night at The Palace. Huge crowd for the Rams. Rams played inspired basketball and got a huge win. I would like to give a special thanks to Raceland teacher and golf coach Wendall Morris who will be leaving this week to serve our country in the Middle East. they announced him at the game and he recieved a standing ovation from both the Raceland and Ashland fans. Thanks Tomcat fans this was very classy. Coach Morris will be serving and missing his only son's graduation this year. Our prayers and thoughts will be with him. Cody Barker was the difference tonight as the Tomcats had no answer for his inside play. Way to go Rams! Lets keep it rolling into the 63rd District Tourney!!!!

Nice win for Lewis Co. The Russell basketball woes continue. The nice thing about basketball season if your not a class A school is the season is really only one game. IF Russell improves with the right draw.....(Greenup Co.) they may have a ticket to the region in Morehead! I'd say Dodd and the Russell boy's are glad they don't seed.

Go Bath Go! I wonder if Coach Hicks will consult a recently retired Raceland coach who has owned the Royals the past 2 seasons in tournament play? (Derby Classic 2005 and All A 2007) I hope Bath has the firepower to duplicate its performance from earlier this season.

No! I still think it was a bad hire by UK and I believe he is a bad character guy and representative of our state. I can't agree with alot of his off the court behavior, and his arrogance. I have tried to give him a fair shake really, but I guess I can't. I know the days of Tubby are long gone,but I just hope that UK fans are happy. Some are and are in BCG's corner and that is good he needs that. However I'm obviously not and I hate to say it I got disappointed when he won last night. I actually get so frustrated with BCG I have quit watching most UK games.
