Sorry still don't see it. Sure guard play is important, but younger Faulkner is back. You've got 2 of the best 5 players in the state back also. I've got no dogs in the fight, just my observations from watching some of the teams play.

Sorry just don't see it. They were 12-18 with 1 decent win over West Carter. Got blown out by the good teams most of the time. Having everybody back isn't always a good thing.

Rose Hill has to be the favorite. Two Miss BB candidates.

I really think it cost her some votes for post season honors, as did the Butler game in Louisville.

I've seen her play since middle school. Northern Exposure probably worst I ever saw her play. Male was right at the top. Classic record for points and steals.

The same Brooke Faulkner. Didn't have a very good tourney at Northern Exposure [ 9th region} before Christmas. Still working volleyball out of her system. Turned it on again after Christmas. Only 2nd girl in history with over 2500 points, 500 assists, and 300 3's.

Actually Fay looked better than Lantry.

At the east/west allstar game Faulkner completely outplayed Lantry. I wasn't impressed with Lantry at all.

Don't bet on it. This should be one of the better Ky. teams.

LC has grown to a AAA school. You can't compete up any more in football, it's totally by enrollment. The cut off for AAA was around 850. Don't know what it is now.

Anika Brown leads West with 20 pts. and 13 boards. Brooke Faulkner leads East with 15. West- Holman 11, Wharton 2, Garrett 10, Gilbert 8, Edelen 12, Martin 5, Green 12, Brown 20, Roof 9, and Bevill 5. East - Golthrup 2, Rich 0, Martin 4, Lantry 6, Fay 13, Faulkner 15, Goodman 5, Rayburn 13, Christman 2, Howard 6, Cole 11, and Jarell 2.

There is as I remember only like 10 people voting for the AP. They are basically concentrated in Lex. and Louis. etc. If you didn't play for LC or Scott or sign with UK you had a hard time getting on a team. I doubt if hardly any of the voters saw many games. That is why the CJ's coaches teams are more accurate.

If you saw the all-star game yesterday, Lantry not even close.

Coaches association chose 1 player and coach from each region. That player to get to play in east-west all-star game[other players were invited too], and automatic invitation to Ky./Ind. tryouts.
