Emily Queen reaches 1000 rebound mark!

Featured Replies

While rebounding totals for her 7th & 8th grade seasons are still being researched (varsity games only, of course), Emily Queen entered the State Tournament with 955 official rebounds in her career and collected 56 in four games at Diddle, pushing her over the 1000 career rebound mark.

Outstanding. Those of us who have the privilege of watching Emily on a daily basis don't tend to realize the superior level of her performance. Averaging 14 rebounds per game in the state tournament is another fine achievement. Over 2,300 points and 1,000 rebounds with a senior year ahead is, as the kids like to say, awesome. However, I'm sure that, at this time, she is much more wrapped up in being a new aunt. Congratulations and blessings to all.

Congratulations to Emily on a great tournament, and a great season. I don't of too many girls, if any, that will have scored over 2,000 points, and had over 1,000 rebounds in their career. I'm sure Emily will have over 2,500 points, and 1,200 rebounds by the time she graduates. She is a scoring and rebounding machine. That is a reflection on not only her talent, but the tremendous work ethic that she has. She will be a tremendous asset to whatever college program she decides to join. I also want to congratulate Emily on becoming an Aunt for the first time. Congratulations Aunt Emily. :thumb: :thumb:

I sat close to some people from Western's program during the week and the term "rebounding machine" was used over and over. I guess the numbers support that title.

If they would have let her rebound for her father during the halftime hotshot competition she would have 1050. :D

Great job Emily. Congratulations to you and RH on a great run. Hope to see you in LT red in the future.

Congrats!:thumb:

Queen learned real quickly rebounding is the best way to get the ball and shots. Would like to see more post players realize this.
