I hit the JC button in the poll by mistake - must need more coffee this morning. I believe it will be a good game, but Highlands will win.

Take the AA, but when you get to US 23 at Lloyd (Greenup Co.) cross the river to Ohio (via the bridge on top of the dam) and come up Rt 52 to the Ashland bridge. Traveling the OH side from Lloyd saves about 15-20 minutes. You will have a non-stop drive avoiding all the trafic lights on the KY side through Greenup, Raceland and Russell.

Congratulations to the Rams and their fans!

Congratulations to the Tomcats!

Congratulations to JJ Jude.

Congratulations to the Golden Eagles!

Congratulations to the Rams and their fans - for making it four-in-a-row over Russell!

The Ashland radio crew said it was 47, the JC radio crew said 71. Mark Maynard (Daily Independent) said it was 81. In my experience Mark gets it right. I don't know why there were so many different reports, but I trust Mark's numbers.

The morning newspaper and Mark Maynard have Jude at 19 carries for 81 Rushing JC 34-100, Ashland 41-215 Passing JC 35, Ashland 154 First downs JC 8, Ashland 15

The morning newpaper (Mark Maynard) had Jude with 19 carries for 81 yards. Rushing JC 34-100, Ashland 41-215 Passing JC 2/10/0 for 35 yds, Ashland 9/15/0 for 154 (My original post was based on the radio's stats - sorry for the mis-information)

The Tomcats were on a mission tonight.

JJ Jude played his heart out. He is a great athlete. It was a hard hitting game. The Eagles have a fine football team.

He got 47:D

Tomcats moved the ball pretty well. JC, not so much. JJ Jude was held to 47-yards (according to the radio). Congratulations to the Tomcats for becoming District 8 Champs!!!!

I'm hoping the Rams win (but expect the Eagles will).

Congratulations to Belfry! It sounds like it was a good game.

The twos and threes got some valuable experience. Elam did well at QB in the 4th quarter. Contratulations to the Tomcats!

I think I'll wait and see (or at least until the week of the game)

IMO, Boyd will prove to be the 4th place team in our 5-team district. Rowan will be 3rd and Greenup will be 5th.

Congratulations to Mason Co.

Final. Close in the 3rd quarter at 14-10, but Ashland scored 28 unanswered.

Congratulations to LC in what looks to have been a good game.

This should be a good game. Rowan Co. has a solid team and they have won some close games. But, I think the Tomcats will prove to be hard to handle.

Hard to call – this could be a season defining game for both teams.
