Go get em Raceland Rams your Erlanger fan. JD

Now this one I've been waiting on for a long time. Love the excitement that goes on all week for a game like this. Good times!!

I LOVE RIVALS!

I don't think the rivalry will close the gap between these 2 teams, Fairview wins this but will have to work for it.

I "HOPE" Raceland wins this. It's a classy program I have been rooting for since I met Randy Vanderhoof. (I know he is gone now)

Raceland played a 5-1 team last week that hadn't played a very tough schedule. I wonder what a 6-0 team that hasn't played a very tough schedule will look like.

I certainly agree with you about Randy Vandrhoof. I have known him and his entire family since Randy was a real little guy. Talk about feeling old, I coached him in his first year of "Minor Leauge" baseball, 8-10yr olds.. Randy is a fine Christian man, was/is a great football and baseball coach. Coach "Hoof" is a valued member of Raceland-Worthingtion high school. I know that he would apprciatd yor complimentsa

. I have been guilty of talking about the Eagles weak schedule myself in the past. They played a puff schedule last season as well and still kicked our butts good.I for one am now tired of sall the talk about Fairview's schedule. The only part of Fairviews schedule tht concern me is their game this Friday at Ram Stadium!

Fairview is good, really good and imo at #5 are underated in the Class A poll. Fairview has an explosive offense to say the least, 5 games over 40pts, 1game over 60 and really could have scored alot more, their subs were in alot in the 2nd half and most all in the 4th qtr.! The Eagles defense gave up 21pts. in their opener, the rest of the season was in the low teens or singl digit scor for their opponets.Fairview has had several front page sports clippings, has had the local t.v. news at their stadium on different occasions thi season. Fairview has had more air time and print hsn anyone in our area with the possible exception of Ashland.

All of this is well deserved praise for the Fairview football program and Coach N. McPeek. The program started making positive moves around 10-12yrs. ago under B. Musick. Then C. Tackett took over the Eagles and kept it going even higher, was a class person amnd wasrepected all over our region. Tacket then had some well known problems with a couple of people and left . Coach N. McPeek has really done a great job there in his few years at Fairview.

I bekieve that is a good summary of how Fairview has stepped up and has one heckuva football team. No Fairview suporters are posting so I thought that I would give their kids some well deserved props since no one from their own fan base is posting for them........ The End

Pulling hard for you Rams! Got a tatse of Fairview last year and it left a distinctly sour one in my mouth. Hope you all circle the wagons and pull off this one!

Fairview is the toughest team we play with the exception of Ashland on our schedule. Coach McPeek has them running on all cylinders and playing tough defense. I agree with oldrambler, the schedule issue should never be spoken of anymore. I put my 2 cents in a few weeks ago but in hindsight, it's stupid to discuss someone else's schedule. We need to worry about playing our schedule and next on that list is the Eagles.

We will have to play our best game of the year in order to have a chance. We have only one loss to F'view since 2004 and it was a bitter pill to swallow. Just A Lion posted earlier that just because this is a rivalry, the gap won't be closed..........I disagree. We have 2 common opponents to date and the scores were almost identical. East Carter, 29-9/31-7 and Greenup 42-6/42-7. As I stated previously, this is the second toughest team we will play and I think we have to play our best game to have a chance. It should be a classic game. As oldrambler likes to say, it should be a slobberknocker!!!!!!!!

#RiseUp

As I said earlier Rams.....there really isn't much to say, should you need anyone or anything to get yo ready to play then I'm not sure that you need to be out there..

I put up that old lunch box on the avatar. Pick up that old lunch box, go to work everyday in practice and get ready to play the best game of your life on Friday night! As a tribute to Oakland Raider owner Al Davis, I will use one of his famous quotes.............

JUST WIN BABY !!!

Raceland, Lewis County is pulling for you. Good Luck
