Anyone else have a feeling that this is the first of a 2 game series this year?

It may well be another 2 game series. This will be the 1st true test for the Eagles. I've seen those who compare the common games and I hope the Rams are not doing the same, Fairview pulls the starters early in the 2nd half and rarely touch the field in the 4th quarter. The Rams may well step up this week and prove me wrong. This would not surprise me from such a storied program, I still feel the Eagles win this as long as they don't go in thinking they've won before they even played the game, which may well be the case. It's hard to blow out opponents week in and week out and not realise you're coming up on someone who can play with you even on a good night.

:lol: What are you sorry for? You could very well be right. Raceland has been beaten up this sason and no one has challenged Fairview. I hope that we can stay close

JAL, you are correct in that Fairview is and should be favored. No doubt they will come in expecting to win. This game is A HUGE Rivalry so I don't think that they will be overlooking Raceland. This is Fairview's super bowl so they will be ready to give their best shot.

Hope practice is going well for the Rams this week...hope you all are healthy...remember games are won in practice not on Friday night! Go Rams!!!

We will have to play our best game of the year in order to have a chance. We have only one loss to F'view since 2004 and it was a bitter pill to swallow. It should be a classic game. As oldrambler likes to say, it should be a slobberknocker!!!!!!!!

1. I certainly agree here 2. Any loss to Fairview stings, thankfully there hasn't been many of them through the years, we dominate the overall series. 3. absolutely will be a slobberknocker, both teams had better toighten up their chin straps.

Fairview is the toughest team we play with the exception of Ashland on our schedule. Coach McPeek has them running on all cylinders and playing tough defense.

I agree with adding Portsmouth East and maybe Russell to that list. McPeek certainly has Fairview playing well and they are very confident that they are going to come down here and blow Raceland out, that is all the talk out there.

I hope that our kids are concentrating on the game plan, picking up that "lunch box" everyday and working hard.

I believe they threw quite a bit against Greenup. I just have a funny feeling we are going to see more passing this week than a goose on ex-lax from The Boys in the Wood. Again, JMO.
