I just have a funny feeling we are going to see more passing this week than a goose on ex-lax from The Boys in the Wood. Again, JMO.

Well, that was Greenup...this is Raceland. If they throw it will be out of necessity, not just for balance. Hopefully the RAMS defense steps it up a notch.

I believe they threw quite a bit against Greenup. I just have a funny feeling we are going to see more passing this week than a goose on ex-lax from The Boys in the Wood. Again, JMO.

Very psosible, we know they can run the football and are ready for that. The boys in "the Wood '" have only aired it out one time I beleve and they certainly didn't need to then. I wonder......

Doc, snce you used that analogy, I hope that the fans will have hard hats. :scared::

This game should be a dandy!! I was very happy with our pass defense last week against Nicholas, I like seeing safety help over the top and that's good, because I expect Fairview to air it out some. IMO one big key to this game is for Raceland to disrupt Fairview's normal tempo and make sure this game becomes a 4 quarter game as I guess that some of Fairview's starters, who probably haven't played more than three quarters all year, could have some conditioning issues. I do believe that this will probably be the third best team Raceland has faced this year (behind Ashland and Pikeville) and would be the best team Raceland has beaten to date. I really hope we win this game!! Good luck guys!!!

Why would they pass? They haven't had to pass all year.

I think they have passed some in their blowout games, mainly in preparation for their game versus Raceland. I think that has been the plan for a while. And, it's not just us saying that, I have heard many people speculating that the pass was the game plan for Fairview.

 

Heck, I hope they do. Let'um air it out.

So far alot has been said about Fairview. Rams, this game is about you,! Concentrate on what you do and how you play! Do the things that you know how to do and make it your game!

 

Should the Rams come out ready to play, execute a great game plan then Fairview will have to be concerned with what Raceland does, nolt the other way around!

I'm hoping the Rams win (but expect the Eagles will).

Fairview 42- Raceland-26, Rams will win against Painsville, then lose to Russell 38-20

Having seen both teams up close I expect this to be an excellent game. I honestly believe it could go either way.

No, Raceland hasn't won a regional title, been to a final four or have a State Championship but that is the goals each and every season at Raceland. I saw the RAMS parade going by the house this evening and glad to see te excitemet/support all around these two communities. Of course, that suppport is nothing new around here. Raceland fans support their kids regardless of the record or the season. This fan base doesn't vacate when things are not going good. Luckily for us we haven't had very many down years and I like to think that kind of support and attitude from everyone involved is a big reason why this program has been so sucsessful. Some other places run around with cute little slogans on bumper stickers about their school, nothing wrong with that but those "slogans" have been the normal around here and it shows without having to tell anyone.

I apologize if that sounds arrrogant to some, it is not meant to be. I just wanted to give some well dserved praise to a great school system academically, athletically, bands, cheerleaders, faculty, administrators, parents along with everyone else in these two small communities are top notch in my book.

 

 

Rams......I have no doubt that this Raceland Football team will be prepared, focued and ready to play tommorrow night. Our coaching staff, just like all the ones before them are second to none. As I stated in an earlier post, Rams this game is about you....Raceland Football and no one else! Go out tommorrow nigh focused. Play every play to the whistle. Stay diciplined, no stupid penalties, don't get drawn into PF calls.. [/b]Win you leave that field tommorrow night don't have any question in your mind that you could have played harder. Leave it all out on the field, no regrets and "Ram Nation" will be proud of you.
