Mason County 23 East Carter 16

Featured Replies

DB Marcel Jackson with two huge plays when it looked like East was going to re-take the lead with 6 minutes to play. QB Tyler Black's second rushing TD with a few seconds left sealed the deal.

Mason bounced back nice.

Congratulations to Mason Co.

Congrats to Mason Co. on the W, this was much closer than I would have thought.

:thumb: I would take it anytime, a pretty loss is pretty ugly in my book.

They all add up the same. Good win for a Mason County program that needed a win.

Tough game for our boys, but it was good to see them playing as well as they did. Mason County is much better than their record IMO (super tough schedule), Black is a tough player running the option. Its always tough losing a game last second, but for our team I felt we had a lot of positives. To be 0-4 and to only trail a program like Mason County for around 4 minutes the entire game says alot about the kids we have and how hungry they are to start winning games.

I wish Coach Buchanan & the Royals the best of the luck going forward this season.
