Raceland stopped LC on the Rams 3yd line late with around 1min to go. Rams, never quitting as usual hit passes, worked clock and took the ball to the LC 30 before being stopped.

LCHS player "Marcum" was offensve and defensive player of the game. The young man played one fine ball game.

I would like to mention one thing about the Marcum kid from LC.............. The radio personel commented that this young man had lost his uncle and grandmother in this past week. My deepest prayers and sympthany goes out to this young man, his family and the LCHS family.

Was an old school smash mouth type game.

Congratulations to LC in what looks to have been a good game.

Raceland now will get a much needed week off/open date before finally returning home to Ram Stadium to start district play.

Five consecutive road games has been a long haul for any team, especially as young as Raceland and all against bigger schools but imo the Rams will get some people healed up and be ready to go come district play.

Sad to hear. Glad that he had a big game. If anyone knows about dealing with these types of situations this season it is Raceland. Nice to see the positive comments from both sides.

Thank you gchs and yes, Raceland went through three players family member deaths in one week this season.

At times like that there are no rivals. Puts everyting in perpective.

Ok Rams...the real seasons getting ready to start so go kick tail, take names and win the district!

Good all around game by both teams. Probably the best effort of the season for Raceland.

It was a very good effort. Just wish we could defend the pass a little better. Glad they didn't throw much! Thought our line played well on both sides of the ball overall. We were out sized up front. Running backs run hard. A few silly mistakes in the red zone really hurt. Holding pent. and dropped ball and recovering it on about the 12 yard line after starting on the three. Nice run after the catch by Daylan B. Great punting and covering. Caudill was on his game all night imo. We've lost two games by a total of three points. Makes the four losses not so bad imo. We lost both at the end of the game. Missed extra point in one game. And run out of time on about the 30. Very well could be 4-2.
