I think Lester had done a decent job. Before he got there they were a doormat in the 13th region. He has not built a great team, but they have been competitive every year except his first year there, with very limited talent. Give him some more talent and I think they do very well. So you think Evarts will be Harlan in the first round. I don't think there will be a change in the staff. He has not had an abundant of talent to work with in the first place. They are in better shape since he has taken over the program. They won 13 games total the two years before he got there. When he got there the cupboard was bare. They won 3,8,19,13 games the last 4 years. The likes of Charles Thomas, Todd Cox, and those guys are not walking through the doors of Harlan High School anymore.

I know for a fact that the head boys basketball coach has NEVER been addressed by the Harlan Ind. administration or anyone else. Trust me, I know this coach very well and what you are saying is slander. I for one hope these parents have the records of these so called calls as well as these approaches made at the kids or there maybe legal actions taken by the opposite side. So you are saying this has to be the boys basketball coach. Trust me, I know the boys basketball coach very well. I have called him about this matter and he is not too happy. He informed me he has never called a player other than his own and that if you are talking about him this is slander, because it has no truth. I would be very careful of the accusations you make, you could end up in court yourself.

Seen the game tonight. The kid from North Laurel, I think his name is Siedel, can play. Doesn't look like a player, but the kid can play. Very physical game. Three technical fouls called. #25 for North Laurel should have been thrown out of the game for throwing a punch. Harlan is not a top ten team no doubt Les. I thought they had a chance to be but, they are to inconsistant and to me they only play hard in spurts. Not a good sign with tournament time around the corner.

I would agree with that. I really do think that Cumberland and Harlan are pretty even although Harlan has beat them 3 times so you have to rank them higher.
