Sources at CCHS say that Coach Reitz is not retiring.

I have heard the blue and white story, I think that is just talk because he has family this way. Doesn't matter now anyway.

I think the DR is right.

It does not matter if it is 1, 2, or 3. I have been saying for some time that Reitz's is staying. I know Reitz gets along well with the superintendent and have seen them discussing basketball at many games. I think the super is pleased with his coaching.

It could be payback time at the Mustang Ranch for a year, Mustang I do like Mustang's comment above. We will be strong for the next 3-4 years.

I agree 100% but as someone else said, did they develop after the seasons. I am coming to the conclusion that many of our athletes go from sport to sport, not spending any time in the off season. We all know that time must be spent developing the player. WHAT did the ones you mentioned do in the off season. The coach does have the responsibility to bring it together.

Looks like Fulton County and St. Mary's might be the best matchup

Guess I was correct in an earlier thread saying Scott losing last night would be to their advantage. Look for the Eagles Sunday afternoon.

Sullivan was a good coach, for whatever reason it is my understanding that many wanted him gone. I don't think you can get better than Reitz, his record as a coach speaks for itself. Yeah maybe we haven't been to the region in the past 3 years or to Rupp, but have we had the best talent in the region to make it. Food for thought?

Since I don't have a dog (or camel if you will) in the fight, being Scott as a loser and Mason and Brossart drawing together. The eagles could be a surprise for the finals. I guess all the guessing will end in about 30 minutes.

Brossart has been the king this year of our district. They should have the advantage, but I won't count out Coach Carr. It can go either way!!

I agree about Kendell, a Mike Reitz former assistant, and head coaching experienced at PC also. I don't know if he out coached simms, but certainly the possibility is present. Simms will be better.

I am sure he is talking about the 6th grade. THey cleaned our clock in 4 games this year. Has Harrison played them.

I think that talk is just 10th region rumor mill. Coach Reitz has a son that will be a junior next year at Harrison. He came up here for part of freshman year, but went back. I have heard Kendell is moving to girls, and Reitz is going back to Harrison. I have even heard that he is going to retire from coaching and stay in teaching. My only thought is that the superintendent hired Reitz when he was still principal. I saw them sitting together before the game, if anyone knows, i am betting on the super!!

Got to favor BBHS, but don't under estimate The Big Train.

After the years PC has had in the last two, I can't hardly believe that you folks would bash each other. What was it 26 years ago prior to the last group that you even one the region. You had two great years and two great groups of kids. I don't know that much about this years team, but i would have to imagine that the talent was less, but that does not mean any less of a good group of boys. When you step on the floor you play as a team. I don't think I have seen any group of 5 that Kane could beat by himself. Kane's family is from our way, and a great group of people, but he could not do it by himself. Maybe everyone should be happy with the success you had this year and remember that this year is pretty average as to what most expected.

Sad to see our Camels go down tonight, but after the rocky start and what seemed to be struggles. I think we bounced back and pulled it together. I don't think anyone expected us to dominant anything, but many felt we could be players in the end. Scott outplayed us at the end. Congrats to Coach Carr as they prepare for probably BBHS and the 10th region tourney next week. To our Camels and Coach Reitz, I see a great amount of promise in your future. I think if we make good choices in selecting players next year, we could see a Camel team do well in the fieldhouse. The future looks bright for camel basketball, and I look forward to Coach Reitz making next year better.

I know it was not what the cats wanted, but it was a good first season for Coach Simms. I think from what i am hearing in our younger team play, the future of the cats is bright.

I don't know about the rest of you camel fans, but i have more faith and BELIEVE we can beat Scott. I think we are much improved since the last match up. GET OUT THERE BOYS AND SHOW THE ONES DOUBTING WE CAN WIN!!!

I have said it before and will say it again. I think Reitz will have the Camels playing well by tourney time.

Great game for our Camels. I continue to like the improvement I see. I thought we really played well last night.

It is hard, but when you have as many juniors sitting on the bench and not performing as we do, why not play the sophmores? I like the change in the lineup. At least those playing look like they want to play.
