Wednesday ... Mayfield vs. Calloway County, Paducah Tilghman vs. Fulton City

Thursday ... Marshall County vs. Heath, Fulton County vs. St. Mary

Monday (3/12) ... Semifinals

Tuesday (3/13) ... Championship

Beat me to it.

Interesting 1st round games.

Three good early matchups ...

The only one that is not is the PT/Fulton City match-up. PT should win easily. Fulton is playing very poorly right now.

Looks like Fulton County and St. Mary's might be the best matchup

Actually, three of the four first-round games could go down to the wire ...

I agree as the Mayfield-Calloway game along with Marshall County-Heath and Fulton County-St. Mary game could be three very good games. Should be a tough tournament to handicap as Tilghman, Marshall, Mayfield, Calloway, and St. Mary have a chance to put together three good games, while Heath and Fulton County are capable of beating anyone on any given night.

Picking Pad. Tilghman to win it.

Mayfields been very hot the last 3 weeks....I think they'll pull an opening round upset of Calloway Co...They'll be an underdog against Tilghman, as well, but usually plays them tough...Its Marshall Co that usually gives them the most trouble, but, I'm calling for a Mayfield regional victory....

I'm not real familiar with your region this year. I had Graves as my pick to win it, just because it seemed like a lot of teams were log jammed at the top of the region and not many people had Graves. Is it possible that any of these teams left can win it?

I can see seven teams having at least an outside chance to make the finals ... Fulton City being the only exception. It's much like 2004, when Carlisle County won the regional title after being the area's #5 or #6 team for most of the season.

Calloway beats Mayfield

and PT beat Fulton City
