This a rematch of the game played at Lee earlier in the year where Powell fought back and hit a tying three with 2 seconds left to tie the score and Aaron Charles came down for Lee and hit a three to win at the buzzer. This game is at Powell. Powell has been known to have tremendous home court advantadge and emotions ran high at Lee and two players were ejected and suspended. I hope this game is played with high emotion and no one loses thier temper. I respect Coach Lively and Coach Wright and I believe both will have thier teams ready to play basketball and keep the extra cirricular activivities off the court. I'll take Lee by 5. Lee won this game going away and is now 3-1 in district play. Owsley looks to have handed the point guard duties over to Devin Evans as he played point from late 2nd quarter till the end. Jeremy Pierson did not return to action after 2 nd quarter. Lee was led by Aaron Charles with 18. Owsley has some nice young athletes coming up. Tim Murrill had a nice game tonight off the bench for the Owls. Lee will play Powell at Powell friday.

Just curious, can you actually say that style of offense or defense is the reason that 10 of the 19 listed free throw record involves one school, Out of the hundreds of schools and the thousands of games that records are kept, that one school appears so frequently is not highly unusual. I do not attempt to state your mindset whether positive or negative I don't know. But to look at the facts and then try to explain someones motives for showing the FACTS is beyond my understanding. It just looks curious and at no time have I ever stated anyone is cheating. Just alot of coincidence. Let each person draw up thier own conclusions.

The more I look at this the more amazed I am. 11 out of the top 19 times the same team is involved in record free throw shots taken. Out of the hundreds of high schools in the state how can one school appear 11 out of the top 19 times. It is almost statistically impossible. Wow, this is definatly a strange record.

I must agree with ARC, quite a compelling case for Powell to have a great home-court advantadge. The facts bears this out by the record book. Don't look like sour grapes to me. But you can always ignore the facts if its in your favor.

If you look at the predictions for this game I said Wolfe by 10. that is what I meant by just about what I figured. Just stating if this senior laden team which is about 95% of the playing time is not having success the next couple years don't look bright either. I like this group of seniors, McIntosh is a handful and Reed can light it up some nights. I am not sure what I said that has hit a nerve.

No one is blaming anyone here just lobbying for enough time for Coach to establish a program. But if the recent past is an indication something is not working. I am sure when a coach is hired the thought is more than a season. So I do not know where the problem lies, just hope Coach Noble changes the recent past.

Totally agree that these are factors. But there have been many other factors and the drive time was not the only factor recently. Just give him a chance and don't expect quick turnarounds. I think we agree Coach needs some time.

I like Coach Noble and hope he gets a chance to stay, but the faithful haven't shown much patience the last few years. Coach's come and go yearly at Booneville and to build a program there needs to be stability.

Just about what I figured! Owsley is struggling and with all the seniors on this team the future looks a little shaky. Will the Owl faithful be patioent enough for Coach Noble to build a program. The next couple years look thin. The eighth grade team had a good year and looks solid for the future.

Wolfe by 10, Wolves will pressure the ball and Owlsley not deep at guard.

Good Win for the Bobcats, Shane Taulbee played big with 21 points and Jared Pelphrey controlled the inside for Lee. good win for Lee since we were shorthanded.
