bball king Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Lee won this game going away and is now 3-1 in district play. Owsley looks to have handed the point guard duties over to Devin Evans as he played point from late 2nd quarter till the end. Jeremy Pierson did not return to action after 2 nd quarter. Lee was led by Aaron Charles with 18. Owsley has some nice young athletes coming up. Tim Murrill had a nice game tonight off the bench for the Owls. Lee will play Powell at Powell friday.
The Equalizer Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Sounded as if Lee got sloppy towards the end of the game or it could've been worse. It doesn't get any easier for these two teams as Powell and Estill lay in front of them. I'm sure Powell hasn't forgot about Aarons 30 footer that sent them back to stanton with a loss. It'll be a great game Friday night in Stanton.
LeeCoBobcatFan Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Good game by the Bobcats. Lots of unselfish play by the Bobcats. Go Cats!!!!!
Big Game Player Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Pressure as usual bothered Owsley and forced turnovers. Lee shot well from the floor and as usual they are confident and play well at home. McIntosh despite hustle had an off night. Murrell really seemed to lead a 2nd quarter and third quarter comeback. Evans took over the pg position and didn't have many turnovers just has to get confortable at the pg position. Everytime the Owls made a run Lee held their composure to fight out a 10+ lead never really loosing control of the game just a bit raddled. Drake looks to be a nice point guard that handles the pressure and really seems to hit the open man. Arron Charles never really got going due to a chaser from Owsley but did a good job of drawing the double team that led to easier baskets for the rest of the team. Charles never really got going until Owsley went man and was able to get to the freethrow line a couple times and was able to score some.

Who beat Lee in the district? Sounds like they are playing pretty good right now. What is Owsley's district record?
