A Saturday night game.

The Engineers (2-2, 2-0 in District) travel to Powell County to face The Pirates (3-1, 0-1 in District). Both teams look to be weak inside, and will realy heavily on guard play. This should be an advantage to Estill. The Engineers return veteran guard Blake Christopher who nearly averaged 20 points a game last season along with leading scorer and long ball specialist Josh Napier. They start two other guards who have had significant varisty playing time sense they were freshmen, in juniors Tristan Cackling and Chris Hoover. The experience and wide array of scoring threats the 'Neers have should be too much for the young, inexperienced Pirates.

Estill takes this one 65-58.

Your thoughts?

Estill 51

Powell 40

You had the thread as Estill vs. Powell. I went back and added County to both teams.

Go neers,

Estill 65

Powell 51

:ylsuper:

I think Powell pulls this one out on their home court. It will be within 5 pts.(even without Kinser)

Estill County by 8 in this one, even on Powell's floor. They will miss Kinser too much and Estill has been shooting the lights out lately. Good luck to both.

Estill Co wins by 15

What kind of effect do you think the loss of Kinser has on this game?

Coach Kyle Lively will have his Pirates ready for this one even without Daniel Kinser. They played well at Lee County without him in the second half. Powell by 5 in an up and down game.

All I know is you can put your money on a close, very physical game.

Estill should win this one... 57-49...
