Every arguement for golf not being a sport has been terrible.

Go play Devou Park in the summer and walk. Don't carry your clubs. Just walk the course. I'll ride behind you on a cart and watch..... John Daly would not play if he had to walk that course. He would withdraw.

The Phoenix Suns don't play defense. There is no defense in skiing (which requires a lot of physical activity), bowling, track and field, etc. etc. The defense in golf is played by the course.

Part of your arguement was travel time. When is it going to be in KY? It isn't fair that KY has to travel and some teams don't. In the 10th region there is a huge tournament. They hold it in Maysville because it's the only school anywhere close to big enough. It's also relatively central and that's been proven time and time again on this site.

Not always. It used to be at 2 gyms over a few days. I'm not sure if it was the same name, but it was a CC tournament.

If you can't play good at the Fieldhouse, what are the odds you'll win at Rupp?

Since Brossart and CC have entered the 10th the 2 biggest advantages they had were Chris Lofton and Darius Miller.....Both would be Brossart and CC's best player of all time and at Mason County they aren't. Talent is a bigger advantage than home-court.

Wasn't the SEC in Atlanta and New Orleans about 10 years in a row? Ole Miss, Georgia, and Mississippi didn't dominate did they? UK has won the SEC more than anyone, and when (if ever) has the SEC tournament been held at Rupp?

There are always 10 players on the court. The more eyes watching them the better IMO.

Foosball is mimicked Soccer. It's like playing Tiger Woods on XBox or Play Station. EA Sports doesn't make a Foosball game do they? Where exactly are these comparisons????????? I saw no valid points in your post. Just an opinion with no basis other than you don't like it.......

There have been other teams than Mason County win the tournament. BUILD A 6000 SEAT GYM and we'll see about GRC hosting the region. I would actually give the awards to the players who are playing (and most in the region aren't bitter about the Fieldhouse Advantage), and the coaches who are exceeding expectations.

Sticking a shot on the 18th green when you're tied directly affects the other players shot. Missing the green affects his shot. Hitting it out of bounds would affect the shots too..... Is golf a sport now?

What's your point? You don't run is discus or shot put EVER! You don't run in skiing, snowboarding, or boxing.

How about Kicker's in football? How about some of the football players? Dan Marino wasn't a great athlete but was a heck of a football player. Some of the big guys are awkward and uncoordinated, slow and fat, yet they are still "athletes"......

How much did David Wells train? How about Jim Breech? How about Fernando Valenzuela, Sean Casey, and Dmitri Young?

I saw him play 4 times and he wasn't the fasted, but he was certainly one of the best.

My HS was VERY intimidated by Highlands in High School. There were maybe 5 of us that weren't and we could tell others were before the game even started.

The former was Tim Carver, the current is Lee Teegarden (sp?).

So you want him to model his program off of unsuccessful programs???? There are a LOT of good things happening at PC. The coaching staff is EXCELLENT. Look at T. He ran that same running program at CC and he wasn't small or athletic. He was tough and smart. In order to have a successful team you have to weed out.... ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE. I understand people weren't happy with the previous coach leaving and I understand that T is not the same. That doesn't make him (or the other coach) wrong. AS for Lorenz..... I think he needs to realize he's a player and not a coach and what your coach says goes. Welcome to HS football. By the way...... I probably know more about the situation than anyone on this sight and PC should feel blessed that T is the head coach.

Because he ran them and disciplined them. That's a joke.
