4 that I am aware of....Murray, Fort Campbell, Todd Co. Central and Caldwell Co....I think both teams went 2-2 against these with both teams losing to Murray and Fort Campbell

Great adjustments by the staff of Owensboro to negate the size difference and to use the speed of Owensboro. Williams, IMO is the most dangerous man in Western Kentucky when he gets the ball...No, I have not seen them all, but I have seen enough of him to say that.

Look without a doubt this is all a sad thing to have happen. I am of the opinion that many times kids are just no longer able to handle the heat because of inactivity/exposure to the heat on a regular bases. Having the comforts that we all enjoy have brought along a whole other generation of young adults. I am sure many will disagree and yes we know more now than we did 30-35 years ago. Having said that, kids are for the most part, do not have "it" as much as kids in the past. This is not the fault of anyone or thing and I am sure the measures that are in place take into consideration these assumptions. I hope it all turns out well for everyone and my prayers go to the families, teammates, coaches and other parties. Lets just realize it is very different for this generation as it will be for ones to follow.

My quess is that when this is all said and done, that the lack of water was not a factor as much as a pre condition. Prayers to all.

Newton has had a great 1st half. He looks cool under pressure. Kentucky with a QB like that in the future ( injury free ) will step it up a notch IMO. As it goes top receivers like to go to schools with top QB's. UK will get some good add ons with this guy at QB.

The one from Owensboro that covers several teams is due out 08/29. This is the latest I can recall it coming out, but you will receive it shortly thereafter.

Is this the index that coaches and officials use in the regular season as well? Also is the course of action for each index what is mandated by the KHSAA?

Who does Madionsville have as projected starter at QB? They have another very tough schedule again this year.

Stanley from Apollo played football (QB) and Robbins was a good guard in basketball, but wanted to concentrate on basketball after, I believe, his sophmore year. Good decision by Robbins. Not sure about some of the others.
