North Laurel is my pick, a match-up with Ryle could take place in the winner's barcket at state.

Ryle reminds me of the Lady Jaguars 2002 team. Great pitcher, but not much offense.

Don't be surprised to see Greenwood or Ow. Catholic win the crown.

Mine too. I just think they are playing their best ball at the right time and all the pieces are falling into place. Plus, a veteran squad with 6 seniors. A great 1-2 punch in the circle with Sears and Cobb. But Greenwood or O'Cath winning it would not surprise me at all! Also Grayson and Scott, if they are on their game, have a shot.

Seems like Ryle is starting to run away with this poll at 43%. I am only a little surprised as Greenwood, North Laurel, and O-Cath have more quality wins against ranked opponents and can score runs more frequently against quality pitching.

O'Cath vs Greenwood in the upper bracket finals Saturday morning at 9am

 

Ryle vs Ballard & North Laurel vs Scott County in the lower bracket 2nd round Friday at 145p with the winners set to meet on Saturday morning at 9am

Les...you have mellowed....:lol: I agree we are very young...alot of Freshmen and a 8th grader. Just glad that the Cards won the region and have a chance to see what it is like....will make them hungry for the next few years to get back.

 

On a side note....saw you at the Basketball state tourney...wanted to come by and say Hi , but we were on opposite ends of the court. Maybe we can meet during basketball season.:thumb:
