Congrats to both teams on a fine season. Congrats to Coach Randy Keeton on a great career. You have been a great coach, and an even better person. You were always in it for the right reasons! Enjoy your retirement!!

I was able to see Lawrence County play the first game today, but had to get back to work this evening, but wanted to say that I am very Proud of the Bulldogs. They were very impressive against Catholic and sounds like they held their own in the Finals tonight. Keeton will be missed as well as all of the Seniors that he groomed. Congatulations on a great season Bulldogs.

Lawrence County, thank you for the way that you have represented our part of the state. I know that you probably don't feel this way now but.....the Lawrence County Bulldogs have absolutely nothing to hang your heads over, great job.

Amusing article. I guess the city boys of PRP had plenty to say during the game and had no respect for the Country Boys. Too bad it couldnt have ended the other way. Kinda amusing too that the only good thing that the PRP coach could have said too was that "We had our chance to put them away and they kept us from that". Real classy.

I'm in no way shape or form a fan of Bill Miller but someone please read the EXACT quote below and tell me how what he said in any way was derogatory about Lawrence County?

 

“It’s always best to get out early but we had a chance early to sort of put them away and we let them off the hook, not doing what we should’ve done,” PRP coach Bill Miller said. “They made the plays and made the pitches in that time to keep us there.”

Great job by the Dawgs to take the nationally ranked PRP to the wire. Very proud of the boys. Great job representing Lawrence County. Thanks a lot for the great season. Chandler Shepard will be a great leader for this team over the next 3 seasons.

Was this the game that the coach bumped into the umpire? I saw it on the news last night, but I couldn't remember which game it was in.
