The only one worth saying is Kyle Kendall. Eflin Tyler is ALL left handed and to SOFT and the other kid hasn't seen quality time if you add up both of the last two years. Just because he's 6'8" does not mean that he is a good player or will be.

I thought he played for another team until the end of summer? Didn't he play just a couple of tournaments with the Shooting Stars because of Josh Hurd (injury) and Zach Kiernan practicing football.

They also picked up Corey Sorrel after a kid quit the team. Probably the biggest pick up they made this summer. I believe he lead them in scoring.

Is he the JV coach?

IMO they would have beat the Jazz in pool play which would have had them playing the Truth instead of Charlotte which is a lot better team than the Truth. Then they would have played the Royals in the semis.

Let's put it this way. If Derek Smith would have had Al Murry and the Hawks had Arrez Henderson it might have been a whole different out come in the AAU State tournament. Both of these kids are VERY GOOD players. I have coached against both of these teams earlier this season and lost to them with their full squad.

What I meant to say was 3 of the top 4 teams were N. Ky. teams.

To much pressure is being put on these kids to play one sport. Your ONLY a kid once so let them have fun doing what they want.

How did the Derek Smith All Stars 16's do in the state?

Can a high school coach (freshmen, JV or head coach) one of his players in AAU?

I thought the gym was GREAT!!! The only thing I didn't like was no program.

GREAT GAME SK!!! I think it will be a different outcome this Friday than the last time we played them.

I have not got the chance to see Anderson this year but I have heard they are a very physical team and if so that will cause some problem with SK. This will be a close game but I think SK will come out the victor.

I guess 16 regional titles is not a winning tradition but I guess 2 regional titles is a winning tradition?
