Before you jump in, here are the rules: The contest consists of FOUR rounds, points carry over after each round, so every pick counts! There will only be one winner at the conclusion of the contest. 5. The College Football Playoffs are underway, and our contest is off and running! Many people hitched their wagon to Texas A&M, and with the Aggies suffering a home loss, the majority of our players missed out on those points! Only one contestant had a perfect round... @TheBallCoach correctly picked all four games and is currently in the lead with 10 points! Still three rounds to go, and plenty of time to make your move. If you believe your point total is incorrect, please PM me and we'll take a look. Round 2 of the contest will be posted shortly!

    Merry Christmas!
  7. We are in complete agreement that the committee is the problem, and they that change their "requirements" throughout the season to fit whatever narrative they've decided to push.
  8. ND was 1-2 versus ranked teams this year. They only have themselves to be mad at. Why would any conference lobby for them over a team that is actually in their conference (ACC, Miami)? Makes zero sense. Notre Dame has FULL control over their destiny each year, more so than most other teams. Hearing them cry about being left out is about as annoying is it could get. Financially, I agree that ND is better off not in a conference, but this is one of the ways it can bite you. The lack of sympathy for ND is warranted, IMO.
  9. Beat Memphis State!
  10. You're trying to apply logic, and that's a waste of time. People refuse to acknowledge that he's just not that good. Could he be someday? Maybe.
  11. Notre Dame can cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.... They don't get to be Independent and then expect the ACC to bend over backwards to make sure they get in the playoff. ND wants to be a part of the ACC when it benefits them. The ACC needs to tell them to kick rocks, join in football or find a new league for ALL their teams. They lost to Miami. The ACC "backed" the right team.
  12. It will be Mendoza or Sayin. I would guess with the deadline being after the Big Ten Championship, that likely got Mendoza a few more votes. My gut tells me Sayin wins though.
  13. Great location, horrible day/opponent.
  14. Notre Dame saying they won’t play in a bowl game. Cry babies.
  15. I think Oregon wins, I'd be surprised if that were the margin.
  16. Louisville 2-0 versus playoff teams. Kill me.
  17. Ole Miss beat Tulane 45-10 in September. No reason this one will be any different.
  18. There are two rematches in the first round, and that shouldn't happen, IMO.
