I agree with you 100%. I think you also have to think about today's athlete. They haven't seen the Notre Dame teams a lot of us have seen that were elite. They have seen a lot of elite Florida teams. I know Myer coached at ND but let's be honest... if you put yourself in today's athletes shoes would you want to go to sunny Florida or dreary Northern Ind? I would be interested to see how BK's personality is taken at ND. Myer's spread is in the perfect situation IMO to be a National Champ every year in Fla. If you are going to coach college ball then I don't think you give up what he has right now.

I respectfully disagree. While I laugh at the Phulahan (sp)Weed Eater Bowl... I can't get enough of bowl season:)

Congrats to the Ram family on a great season! It is refreshing seeing a program in the area with all the support and great things going on. You have made the area proud this year!

Texas Tech -22 Tulane +14 SMU +15 Auburn +15 KY +3.5 South Car +1 Okl -7.5 That's what I got for the day. Went bigger on Tech+Okl. I don't like UK a lot but we are going to the game in Tenn so I'll make it a little more fun:) I think there is a NBA road game in the next day or two.

My first game I've seen at Boyle Co and it was a great atmosphere. Hats off to both teams. There was a lot of speed on the field and it was a really physical game. Two GREAT programs and it was fun to watch both teams flying around!

I don't think JC has the speed to match Highlands but I'm not sure Highlands can stop JC if they are able to just line up and pound the ball all night. If JC gets behind and has to throw the ball it could get ugly but if they are able to manage the clock+not turn the ball over then their rushing attack can help them pull off a stunner to a lot of folks. Go JC! It's been along time since I've been able to say that but there are a lot of guys around there I care about:)

I'm driving over to my first Boyle Co game. My old coach is helping there, I coached his son, Hester is a friend, I coached at Lex Cath with a lot of those guys so it's going to be interesting:) I also have a brother in law helping at Johnson Central and best friend since 1st grade helping at Pikeville so it's an exciting night. I'd love to meet up with some of you folks. I'll have black bibs and a white under armour sweatshirt on. Wireman if you are around hit me up.

I love Guns+Roses. I think it should be false advertisemnt if Duff+Slash aren't in the band. Steven Adler is on Celebrity Rehab so to me it's a joke they call it Guns and Roses (I know he was kicked out). It's not the same when they all aren't together. That's like Slash without Axel trying to use the name. I would like to here the albumn though.

I would have also tried to get a Football G.A. job at a large University if I decided to go a different route.

Euchre is my all time favorite. I've played countless hours of spades, rook, hand+foot, poker, black jack, guts:), 3 card poker, gin, I could go on and on. I haven't played cards in a long time but for some reason I've always been really good at cards. I can't tell you how many hours we spent playing cards my 1st couple of years of college in the dorms. Great memories!

Probably worked around the beach somewhere while I was in college. I did A LOT and had experiences that would blow a lot of minds but I always think about what it would have been like to work at a resort in the summer. I was between going to grad school or getting married. I had been accepted to Fla St and Geo but went the marriage route. I finished my Master's but it was at Morehead. I don't regret but sometimes wish I had those experiences.

Tie between the ones with the most cheerleaders and gym:) I actually enjoyed my math classes + had fun in classes like family living (it was probably the most useful besides typing).

I think it starts and ends with the Chargers. They were the Super Bowl favorites by A LOT of folks! The Jags+Browns+Eagles+Sehawks have all been letdowns. I expect the Bengals to stink pretty much with the guys they have there and in charge. The Saints have been a letdown for me but I think they might just turn the corner.

Kris Jenkins is 3rd in the league IMO. Warner/Brees 1-2 then Jenkins. Farve brought the swagger but he is the difference maker. He's almost impossible to run on right now. Hayensworth would be #2 for me probably.

That's what I was thinking about too. This is why the system is a mess. If Okl gets hammered (doubtful but also didn't think Tech would get beat that bad) and Tech squeaks by then Bama loses by 1 it would be ugly!

Lawrence Co was as good as there was in Eastern KY through the 90's. It's been pretty sad this decade though.

Warner, Brees (if he team could do anything), C. Jenkins Dline Jets (BEAST!), Portis (if his team was in the playoffs). Giants Oline but you can't give it too a group. Romo could be up there if he doesn't get hurt and they make a run. Right now I think it's Warner.

I almost took the Packers + Over. I didn't like either enough to bet though. I am in a huge money league for FF and won this week again. I'm 2 wks away from about $1,500 but only have a 73 pt lead. The guy in 2nd had Brees+P.Thomas tonight. They scored 70 pts by themeslves! I had M. Crosby he scored 3!

I used to be a picky eater but I have loved Pumkin Pie my whole life! When I was a kid they would just go on and make a seperate pie for me:)

I'd love to beat Miami a year after beating Fla St!

I split today with Dallas+Tenn. I was feeling the Jets but the Titans have been so good for me that I stayed with them. I wasn't feeling a lot today. I kind of like Green Bay tomorrow night.
