I think Mason County will win the Region. Experience or not in the Tournament they have the best "Team" and if it gets close, the home court will be the difference.

Very disappointing for Harrison County, but hard to beat a team that hits 3's like that.

Harrison has the potential. They just lack the leadership from their bench as in Coach. Has been a recurring problem at HCHS ever since Mike Reitz left. I can understand why players want to go elsewhere and play. Not to take anything away from Augusta as they played a very good game, but Harrison should have won this one.

Jenkins as in the "Transfer" from Harrison County? How are their other 2 "Transfers" from the Scott County AAU Summer Team doing?

Like I said last week, Coach Graham was very under appreciated at Harrison County. It's a shame that people didn't recognize what a good job he really did until after he left. This may be the weakest team Harrison County has ever fielded in football.

Turned it on in 2nd Quarter and the announcers said that Harrison County was 1 for 14 on 3rd downs going into tonight's game :isurrender:. Sure not going to win games when you have that low of a success rate on 3rd down.

Harrison is a baseball powerhouse, so what "Rock" have you been hiding under? LOL 4 State Championships in the past 21 years with an enrollment of maybe 900 students. And, they compete in a sport that doesn't break down their championships by class.

Sounds as if Scott County is reloading again! It amazes me how Coach Hicks does this year after year after year. It would be nice to see if he could coach on a level playing field.

The umpires need to move a little to get in position to make the right call! No excuse for this injustice no matter what excuses the KHSAA comes up with. Down right sorry job by the umpiring crew! And very poor sportsmanship on the part of the Ashland coach!!!!

Watching Sports Center on 5/30 and guess what I saw that worked? You guessed it, " The Old Hidden Ball Trick!". LOL

This game was won in the top of the 6th when Bourbon County had their first 2 batters reach base and did not bunt their clean up hitter. He grounds into a force at third leaving runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Number 5 hitter then drives one deep to center advancing both runners with 2 outs. Number 6 hitter makes an out and all but ended the game. A critical spot that required bunting your clean up hitter! Just a little "small ball" and it could have produced a different outcome in my opinion.

Why did Bourbon not start Pope? He throws mid to upper 80's. By the time he finally got in the game, the game was over!
