Final from North Laurel.

D.J. Jenkins leads all scorers with 28 points. Isaiah Johnson adds 14 for the Cardinals.

Jared Savage leads Warren Central with 18 & Kolbe Caldwell puts in 16.

The return of Isaiah Johnson. I wonder how Hines Jones is doing. Jenkins looks to be a prolific scorer.

Johnson has played all three games for SC,,Jones will be fine. All three will have to produce points for SC in a big way..

The return? He's played every game so far this season.

I had no idea. I was thinking he wasn't eligible yet. Interesting. Makes me feel like things will be tough for Scott County this year.

Yep, could be a long winter in G'town...

How can you say that after beating Warren Central by 20+?

I was impressed with Scott Co.

Hines Jones did the scoring early then second half it was the DJ Jenkins show with Johnson chipping in here and there. Scott Co beat Warren Central on the glass. I like the big for Scott Co as well, #44. Was solid all day around the rim at both ends.

For Warren Central, Amos and Savage are a nice duo. Savage is really smooth both inside and out and you're almost a little surprised when he does miss a shot because of how perfect his form is. Nice player.

I thought the difference was that Scott Co had the best player on the floor with Jenkins and honestly they were just tougher than WC. They played a lot more physical at both ends and it wore on WC throughout the game.

Scott County just does have the same talent level as in the past,,Warren Central also lost Friday nite to Henderson County,,68 to 51..

Maybe not but DJ Jenkins can play with the best of them in the state. Kid flat out gets buckets.

Jenkins as in the "Transfer" from Harrison County? How are their other 2 "Transfers" from the Scott County AAU Summer Team doing?

This makes me wonder how good Warren Central really is. They haven't been in either ballgame against better teams.

They seem to always struggle early, but come February, watch out.
