I wish I could have been there but had to be in Lexington today. Listened to it on the radio. Great back and forth game.

It's really amazing what Buckhorn has done in the last 30 years. They had never played in the regional tournament until they did it in 1988. And they won the region the first year they were in it. Also won the region in 1989. And of course, won it last year. The Wildcats have a tight knit community who are incredibly supportive of their teams. They're a small school but they get it done, and also have one of the best coaches in the state in John Noble.

If Fox doesn't play, or only sees limited time, I don't think UK can win. When he was limited in play with his sprained ankle it affected them in those games. They're not the same when he's on the bench.

It must have been bad to set Pitino off like that. But the only thing that would concern me if I were Rick is if other fan bases think he's that easy to get angry that it will only make it worse when he and his team travel to other venues. That's what a lot of fans want when they shout stupid stuff, a dramatic response.

I think Kentucky will win but it will be one of those down to the wire type games. Probably 78-75. I worry that Florida is a more physical team than UK. They smacked the Cats around pretty good in Gainesville. Muscled UK on the boards. UK guys are going to have to meet that challenge.

You have some people who want to award or honor everything. I've seen some gyms with runner-up district basketball banners on the wall.

The loss of their big guy Brown to injury was the difference. That was a huge loss for their team. He was impressive in the state tournament last year.

The 14th Region has its lowest number of referees in quite a while. I heard the number was 24. I think they were well over 30 when the season began.

I'm still not listed on the Final Season standings. I'm a lot of trouble, lol. I had 130 total points after week 9 and this week's 17 total brings me to 147 for the final standings.

Jeez, I hope not. That ranks right up there with Nancy Reagan's astrology beliefs.

Darn!!! Had them picked in a few contest to win the 3rd. This is the second straight year that the team I picked to win the 3rd region got knocked out in the first round of the district play. Thats always a tough region to figure out who will win.

PP92, I think I won this week 10 contest. The only game I missed was Lafayette which counted 1 point. I had 17 points and with 130 point TB I believe that was closest to the 107. I dont see my name listed in the results or Final Season results.

Neither does Cowherd. Jones is about as intellectual about sports as Cowherd thinks he is.
