I don't think he's been on the team for several weeks. Not sure why.

I agree that the media in the past has determined the outcome of some presidential elections. I understand that the national and world wide economy took a dip toward the last part of the 1992 presidential race, but I always have thought that the media was extremely slanted against Bush throughout that election. They seem to nearly always paint Clinton in glowing ways but put a darker and bleak image toward Bush.

Jessica Biel Saw her in a movie on TV and googled to see where she is from. I thought she was British but she's from Minnesota. So my tat would be Jessica Biel.

He said today on his show that Cowherd was afraid to debate him. He had tried to call Cowherd's show to debate him on the issue and said the answer he got was Cowherd had more important things to worry about. So Matt says on his radio show that Cowherd either thinks he's too big or is afraid to discuss the issue with him. Said he makes comments like he has about UK but when it comes to defending those statements he says he is above that. He said Cowherd wouldn't debate him because he knows he has an equal in that department and he can't totally back up his argument. I think he also said he would would probably get cut off if Cowherd finally did decide to debate him, not get the last word. Of course, Jones also does that sort of thing too. That's not word for word but I'm quoting on memory.

Okay. Wasn't aware of that. I suppose a re-write will be in order.

Since they've already used that method in the last movie I believe they'll do it with her as well in the 9th movie.

I used to occasionally watch or listen to him but he's too Pro oriented for my taste, although I totally understand that's where the market and money is. I realize I'm in the minority in that thinking. I stopped watching Mike and Mike for that same reason. I'm more interested in college when it comes to football and basketball, which are the two main sports discussed on the national sports shows. Im not a big pro person. I rarely watch baseball after what happened in 1994, except in the post season. Actually, I'm the same with the NBA and NFL, usually watch only post season. But I admit I may now be a Pelican fan after the recent trade!

A little surprised by this result. Thought the Mountaineers would clip the Cardinals.

I'm going to go with my heart and pick the Lady Owls in a close game. Estill won in Irvine last week by 2 and Owsley had a shot roll off the rim at the horn that would have tied the game. Because Estill defeated Owsley twice during the season doesn't mean anything in post season play. Lee beat Owsley 3 times during the season but Owsley got them in the 4th and most important contest. If Gibson plays like she did tonight and the team plays a good defensive game, which they did much better tonight against Lee, then I think Owsley takes home the championship.

Owsley played one of their best games of the year. The younger players have matured a lot since the first of the season. Lady Owls had the game under control in regulation, leading by 14 at one time, but Lee caused some turnovers and hit some big 3's to tie the game and put it in overtime. Lee led by 3 once in the OT but Owsley stayed the course and didn't panic. They took a 64-63 on a 3 pointer and increased the lead to 6. Lee's Kash hit a 3 at the horn to make the final score 71-68. Owsley's Macie Gibson scored 44 points and I'm not sure how many rebounds but must have been 15 or more. Kash had a big night for Lee as well. Didn't get the game stats but my guess is she had well over 30 points. Lady Owls move on to play Estill Thursday at 7:00. Estill defeated Powell in the second game.

He knows exactly what he's doing. UK has the biggest college basketball fan base and it's not even close, and no program hits the sports boards like Cats' fans. He's stirring the pot. Rafters has already probably blown a fuse and he's on there reading every word right now with a big grin on his face saying, "gotcha sucker."

I don't follow the NBA much, so a question: Who are the guards on the N.O.team since they've traded their present guards for Boogie?

1 Graves County (Paducah Tilghman would be ok, too) 2 Christian County (Hopkinsville as a second choice) 3 Apollo (Catholic would be fine as well. They don't make it to Rupp very often) 4 Bowling Green (fun team to watch. Great athletes) 5 Adair County (another school that doesn't make the Big Show very often) 6 Fern Creek (First trip for them) 7 Trinity 8 Oldham County 9 Cooper (CovCath would be another good choice, good team and have those 'Crazies') 10 Paris (Campbell will probably win but I would like to see this small school make it) 11 Scott County 12 Southwestern 13 Knox Central (another school that hasn't been to state in a while) 14 Perry Central (the Commodores are on a 6 year state drought, an etenity for them) 15 Pikeville (another small school and they have the same school colors as my home school) 16 Elliott County (I'm friends to their former coach, Rick Mays, so I always root for Elliott, plus as with Pikeville, they have the same school colors as my Owsley school. That's always a good reason to cheer for someone, )

I think UK is looking different from early in the season for two reasons: (1) Their fast break points in 4 seconds offense was something that other teams adjusted to as the season progressed. Tennessee sent four players back on defense when they missed a shot on their offensive end when they played in Knoxville. No crashing the offensive boards. teams watch all of UK's games and they weren't going to allow Fox, Monk, and Briscoe to continue to push the ball at that pace. Now UK is having to adjust to the half court game and that;s not their guard;s game but they're going to have to learn it and adjust before the Big Show. (2) Calipari is deliberately slowing down their pace and working more on a half court game because he knows that when they get to the NCAA tournament that play slows down dramatically from what it is during the season. It's just the way it is in a tension-filled one-and-done tournament.

North Carolina may get the championship this year that a last second 3 cost them last year. They're looking pretty good lately and at the right time of the season.

Unless UK can figure out how to stop guards from scoring in the lane they're not going very far in the NCAA tourney. There's a lot of guards across the college landscape that can simulate what Frazier did in this game. Maybe not bunches of them but enough on the teams that make the tournament to cause problems.

Briscoe needs to stop and think, "Why have I always got the open 3 all the time but my teammates don't?" :down:

This game is a nice example of playing down to your competition.

Someone needs to remind Briscoe he's not a shooter.

I think to get on the list the player has to be a senior. In some regions there's probably several players better than some of the picks but they don't qualify because only seniors are eligible.
