Okay, here's my question: Why would you have a homosexual man judge a beauty pagent of women? -
President Obama condemns Iranian leader

BO finally does something I approve of. Kudos. -
That's where you're wrong. Its not what they want from us. They don't understand phrases like "compassionate war" and "Geneva Convention." They think we're too weak to do what needs to be done. We made the same mistake when we surrendered the Philipines to the Japanese. They hated those who surrendered because it showed a lack of honor. The saying "know thine enemy" doesn't mean know who they are. It means understand them; know why and how they fight; understand what being a warrier means to them; and, learn what it takes to break them.

Obama open to some interrogation prosecution

Nancy Pelosi was for waterboarding in 2002 when she and 3 other Congresspeople approved of the CIA's interrogation plans. -
NBC News and news services updated 11 minutes ago WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama left the door open Tuesday to prosecuting Bush administration officials who devised the legal authority for gruesome terrorism-suspect interrogations, saying the United States lost "our moral bearings" with use of the tactics. The question of whether to bring charges against those who devised justification for the methods "is going to be more of a decision for the attorney general within the parameters of various laws and I don't want to prejudge that," Obama said. The president discussed the issue of terrorism-era interrogation tactics with reporters as he finished an Oval Office meeting with visiting King Abdullah II of Jordan. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30325495

Should sodomy be a crime?

It looks like Sodomy in the 4th degree was overturned by the Ky Supreme Court in 1992 in Commonwealth v. Wasson. -

Should sodomy be a crime?
HHSDad replied to formerkywrestler's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
Sodomy in the 1st-3rd degree all deal with forced, underage or guardian sodomy and are all felonies. Sodomy in the 4th degree is a misdemeanor. And I have personally seen someone get an additional 5 years added on for Sodemy in the 1st degree. -
It would depend on what they're teaching. As I feel that promoting/teaching any religion in public school should be avoided, I don't think I'd have a problem with it. That is until one of my kids start spending more and more time with their Muslim teacher and become antagonistic towards the United States.

Kentucky Law: A person is guilty of sodomy in the fourth degree when he engages in deviate sexual intercourse with another person of the same sex. -

Ocho literally crying to Housh???
HHSDad replied to ScarHeel's topic in National Football League (NFL)
Saying Mike Brown is worst than George Steinbrenner, Al Davis and Jerry Jones just seems wrong to me. It's like comparing diarrhea to cholera. Yeah, they're both bad, but its a matter of degree. I often wonder if Paul Brown has asked why they don't carry any of the Bengal games in heaven. -
Hey, a friend of mine has one, but he says belted Winchester 7.62 M-80 ball ammunition is kinda expensive.

Pitino involved in an extortion attempt..
HHSDad replied to letabrotherspeak's topic in College Basketball
They've got a coach with a 200-73 record at the school. 6 NCAA appearances in the last 7 years. 2 Final Fours and 4 Elite Eights in the past 5 years. Yeah, they should kick him to the curb for having an affair with the wife of an assistant who is defending Pitino, even if he's done nothing wrong. Makes perfect sense to me. I'm sure if the same happened to some of your all's favorite coaches, you'd be out building the gallows yourself. NOT! How about a little less passion and a little commonsense? And Warrior: this post was directed at the posters in general, not at you. -
I got nuthin. Just ask the wife.

Unless Pitino has done something criminal, his job at UL is perfectly safe? Do you guys even WATCH college basketball? -

Hate to disagree with most all of you, but is it mere coicidence that whoever joins the Bengal organization quickly becomes disgruntled, unsuccessful or both? Talk throughout the NFL is to stay away from Cincinnati unless you want to become Bengalized by Mike Brown. I believe "Bengalized" is another word for neutered. -
Political Correctness and Censorship
HHSDad replied to Wyrostek's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
Political correctness is much worse and far more sinister than censorship. It is long-term brainwashing of the masses. -
Not at all. Bush suckered quite a few into believing we should invade Iraq. I was not one of them. He also came close to turning our port security over to the Arabs.

What we as conservatives have failed to understand over the past 8 years is that everything we have been accused of, no matter how silly it sounded, comes straight out of the liberal strategy book. The left was accusing the right only because it was what they would do if in the same situation. I always thougnt the left was fairly harmless with some of its whacko factions. I never really realized how dangerous they are and how sucessful they've been over the past 50 years at slowly suckering the people of this country.
