I stand corrected. I thought they got to the championship in '79 with Chuck Coleman.

After a 1 year hiatus Trinity will be back on the field on Turkey day. Gates for the practice will be open at 9:00 and tickets for the state semi-final game will also be on sale. With decent weather I would guess 200+ people will be there. Hot Chocolate, Coffee and Doughnuts will be served to all. Practice will start at 10 and last about an hour and a half. The team will then meet at mid-field, pray together and be dismissed to spend the rest of the day with family.

This I would agree with. If the state association had said it's a correctable error then so be it, they didn't.

An update. Bronze lot WILL BE OPEN but there will be limitations due to advanced set-up by UofL. All parking is $10.00, payable at the gates, and a final reminder NO TAILGATING WILL BE ALLOWED!

I disagree 100%. I think this was the correct decision. Sometimes bad things happen and people don't get their way. And I do agree that anything other then this decision would have been a slippery slope. As I said earlier, we all want perfect officiating. It will never happen. This was an officials error and I do feel bad for the kids that were hurt but hat's life.

I believe that the officials on the field make the calls they think are correct and that those calls should stand regardless of when they happen. After the fact you can sanction the officials (as it appears has happened) but having a court overturn the results of a game takes it to far. We want perfectly officiated games but that's never going to happen.

You punish the officials and tell the team that lost that sometimes the hardest lesson in life to learn is the right thing doesn't always happen.

Hopefully the judge will throw this out. Courts should not get involved in something like this.

For anyone planning to attend Friday a few restrictions you need to be aware of. Parking lots will open at 4:30. The Bronze Lot (the lot immediately adjacent to the stadium) will be closed. No tailgating will be allowed in any UofL lots. Gates will open at 5:00. All seats will be general admission and seating will be limited the the area between the 20 on both sides of the stadium. The corners and end zone will be closed. All upper deck seating will be closed The Brown and Williamson Room will be closed.

I disagree with this sentiment. If a kid does something that warrants ejection he should be ejected, is doesn't matter if it's game one or the state semi-finals. By this point in time everyone knows (or they should know) that any ejection carries a suspension. Just because a team is deep in the playoff shouldn't influence it.

Any personal foul deemed flagrant can be grounds for ejection.

I really hope that Trinity got a wake up call Friday night when Ballard came out and punched them in the mouth right off the bat. At this point every team can be beaten and Trinity needs to realize that.

Fans yes, but I can't help but laugh when I hear a high school coach yell uncatchable and pass his hand over his head after his team is flagged for pass interference. It happens more then you'd think.

This. Just like a punt if the ball doesn't cross the goal line it can be downed by the kicking team. Sounds like a bit of bad strategy or not knowing the rules by the defensive team. As far as I know the NFL is the only level that brings a missed field goal comes out to where it was kicked from.

That's it. They have a huge campus. If your routing takes you on I-265 N from I-64 you'll see the stadium from there before exiting.

CAL has a very nice field on their campus. Just installed state of the are turf before this season.
