Ben Parr and Greg Willet will do a nice job if the coach keeps football players.

They had big guys who could provide the tuffnest that they needed. Unless something changes they will be very week on the inside.

Josh was also the best basketball player in this age group.

Was this the biggest upset in 9th region sports? When a number 12 beats a number 1 to go to state that is a big task.

I am talking a about a feeder system to the high school thur the Middle school.

There is only 1 team in the NKY 7th and 8th grade league that has had any success, can you name that school? When I say success that means playing or even competing for a state title.

We will see how well this works out in thr future. I know the coach's they,nice guys. They are parents who kids didn't get to be stars. So they took there kid elsewhere and became coach. Tell me how that helps the high school. The've hAD A middle school team with 80 kids for years. Have CC played any better? No. Same old thing. Go to the playoffs 1 out of every 10 years. Even Corson did that and he got fired. I have no problem with that league. It is a T-shirt league. we play in a competitive league. This is not for everyone. Does the high school want players from the Red DEvils?

Corson didn't want us out there. So they didn't go. He got fired for not winning. I now Troy wants us there but not many are coming because of this. As far as the fund raiser. 1700 people X 3$ is 5,100 Remember 3 games played. This is a avg gate for a big game in NKYFL. Concession profit 2,500 T-shirts and split the pot 400. 8,000 grand and the kids have fun playing against there classmates.

NCC used a bunch last year. Jones, SWillet, Johnson, Ferra, Kelly. They will be group of solid players.

Would someone answer this Question? Why is there 10 Red Devils coaching the high school? They were good enough to play on that field and coach kids there. But someone has a great idea, lets charge $1,500 the kids who go to this school to play on this field. In other words price them off the field. We offered to play a game to help fundraising but you guys declined. Why? Why did the school board kick the youth basketball league out also? We finished playing our games at Highlands. Just like Corson you are running players away from your school. I am a big Fan of Cc high school players and coach's. It is the school board always causes the problem.

The CCYFL is no comparison to the NKYFL or Red Devils. Do they use officals? They do, but not real ones. Kind of like their coach's. Speaking of coach's. The coach's they use are made up of ex-red devil Dads, who kids would not be stars for us. They left to coach them there. We could always play a game. The tax dollars I'm talking about are the wasted money that has and will continue to be spend on a field not suitable for playing on. You come across like a school board member. Because you have no clue about how things should be done. Turf is expensive, but more cost effective compared to the wasted money used the last 5 years on the current dust bowl. How much more money will be wasted to fix the current problem? If they are the current leaders who think they know everything then fire ad's, coach's and kick youth basketball and football players off of fields that there parents tax dollars pay for. But these same people can't grow grass or turn on a hose. But you fell for all of it and let the cat out of the bag.. The Red Devils were kicked off the field for the CCYFL,their own youth league. Remember you have 10 varsity coach's that played for the Red Devils. We were good enough then but not now. That is poor leadership to say the least.

I may not know exact time span and amounts spent on field. But how should I know what she is doing when even she doesn't know what she is doing. There was a Fungus problem. There were allot of games (we were one of these games) That was cancelled because of this problem. After being priced out of using field, I do not have a dog in the fight. My point is The school board continues to be a mess. I hope for the kids who do play on the field, get a field that is playable. Their tax dollars deserve it.

New recieves are srs and will step up. Jake Smith, Garrad Brown, Another big lineman back, and Stephen Roll on line. Johnson,Greg, Chris, Jones at linebackers. You ask whos back? A team of brothers looking for a lost ring It May be protected by a fort but it is not Knox.

Mark is the Man Chris knows his role. Block Block work for the olfer brother. Then when Mark needs a break, Chris will roll. This is not a first at this house. Remember Sean and Ben playing at New Cath and again last year when Ben helped Sean break the Union's record for most receptions in a season. Ben did the same when he played at NC, Then became player of the year in 1a the next year. Chris knows he's role. He is a stud. Next all state player who will knock down blocks then run the same guy over when he gets the ball. He is the difference maker for NCC offense. Chris will do what it takes. Ask Holy Cross and Desales. If you didn't notice the freshman played noesguard to help stop the run. Big playoff games with a freshman in the mix. He has never done that before. Everyone should watch him play. A Player, Fast, mean, tough, smart, can run and catch. But his attitude is amazing. This Year Mark is the Man, Just ask Chris for your answer.

Sharon Alexandria is in charge of how the field has been taken care of for years. They have put a ton of money into that field in the last 5 years. 1. First paying alot to get it back to playable and safe 5 years ago. 2. Then The rubber tire mulch that was not taken care of properly. They had to cancel games on the field because of a mold (fungus) problems. They canceled all games but Varsity games and did not tell anyone about the dangers of playing there. 3. Last year she put more money to get it right. 4. who knows what is next. Turf would have been cheaper by now. That didn't work either. This field is used 25 times a year, tops. No soccer, Just Middle School,Freshman, Jv, Varsity. Red Devils have used it 6 times in 5 years. The results speak for themself. I will note that I am biased because she wanted to charge the Red Devils a youth football program that has been using the field for 49 years $1,500.00 a game to fix her mistakes. More Campbell County Board of Education mismanagement. Tax money wasted, wasted, wasted. Only Groundskeeper Bill Murray from Caddyshack can fix this comedy of errors.

NCC will be good this year. This group were Undefeated Freshman Champs and have only improved since then. Most players have been on Sidelines or played in 3 state title games. Should be a fun year. When is spring practice.

What about winning North College Hill game. Was NCC good, lucky, and or poorly coached. My thoughts are they have good players and were poorly coached and players won games for him. That wouldn't last long.

And they put Pangallo on him. Great coaching. Then Oberding on Simpson. NCC complaints should not be about the ref's.

On a side note, it was funny looking at NCC's bench to see 6 coaches and 6 players... That was a family portrait!!!!

Ncc had no defenders and they bench there best scoring threat in exchange for what. Looks like the score could have been worse. NCC will not make the region again for some time. The cubbard is empty. One guy is left and they sat him down.
