I think the coach needed to set up plays to get his shooters open. Instead sit the best shooter and scorer. Now people pack in against Geisler and his numbers go down. What is funny is Geisler was getting 5.1 rebounds a game and Connor was getting 4.9 rebounds a game. Not bad at 5-10 compared to 6-6. Highlands in a low scoring game.

CovCath and Coach Listerman
red devils replied to Maverick34's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Coach Listerman is a great person and Coach. Would be a huge loss for Cov Cath. -
He seems like a caring person. Mainly to his coach's kids and the people who do the fundraising for him. I'm sure he has good family values.

The football team is run with class and dignity. Bob would never let the things go on in the football program that goes on in the basketball program.

Because you and your sister-n-law do so your kid can play.

It took awhile but now I know. You are in the family. I can see you sitting on the bench with all of them.

I've answered your question. The freshman coach and JV coach's did not develope any players so that there sons got there position handed to them. It was easy to see when there teams were put together. They were waiting for ther 8th graders sons to move to JV and varsity when they got there. That is your answer. I have given this to you before. My son was not a guard. You are correct about sour grapes. The coach's know why they are there. They made there comments now I will make mine. When a player blows out his shoulder twice on the coach's floor and the coach never bothered to ask how are you, anything we can do, good to see ya back at school, how was your surgeries. That will tell you what type of person he is. A private school education should have better people representing them then him. The parr kid should have been the point quard when they were freshman (best player on that team). They did not play him. He would be the point guard now. 6-3 great athelete, smart and cut for the coach's kids and fundraising parents kids who start. Favoritism and nepotism at its finest. Now you now the rest of the story.

Wait no longer! Winning one big game a month and losing 4 games you should have won, does not make you a good coach. It shows that with consistant coaching they should compete and win more. Not get beat by Newport by 20. The new offense is working but shows he has no clue what game plan he had going into the season. All said great win for the school and players. They are great players and there dads should be proud sitting next to them.

Why did NCC not play a game in between the All A Classic and Tuesday? Were they that over confident that they would win the All A Regional? What is Ncc record so far in 2008?
-
The slide continues for NCC. There record this year (2008) may be 1-8. Maybe nku20 can give us the correct record.
-
People may think the draw is unfair. But why would NCC think they should get a seed when it seems like they have not won a game this year (2008). I believe NCC would have been a 3 seed last year and this year. They under achieved last year and this year. Bellevue and Dayton should get a chance to play in the region.

Best shooters in NKY/State
red devils replied to cchwildcat241's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Jeremy Conner is right now. I have not seen total stats but Conner has to have most 3's in the state right now. 10 in the first game. Has anyone done that this year? There are some great shooter's on the list, but he is the man right now. -

They have 1. But that's 1 more than they had last year basically. Isn't it the Freshman and JV coach's job to develop players. They did not do this because they did not want any competiton for the job. Easy to hand it to 1. -

There's a Schear, a Brannen, a Pangallo and a Meyer. Are the freshman coach's related to the other coach's and players? -

Like I said before I will keep kids name out of this. I will let you answer my questions. How many true point guards do they have on all 3 rosters? While you are at it tell me why they only developed 1? -

How many coach's kids are playing? How many coach's are related? When its a family tradition it is easy to make sure no one can compete for a spot and those spots are handed to those kids when they get there. And who picked the last 2 coach's? To keep your job, you have to play those kids. Like I said family tradition. Now that's funny except when your a kid. Keep laughing you know the truth. -

I think I just did. NCC Basketball program is run for family members. If your not in the family they play mind games with the kids. I've seen it for 20 years. -

I think the players for NCC can do without any help from coaching. If they get involved SK in a blowout. Lets keep up the family tradition.
